App Reviews

  • Seriously best reddit app

    By Rackanak
  • Love the app, except for recent issues

    By MattB_2692273833
Recently, when I use the app for too long or on a subreddit that has a lot of gifs, Apollo causes my phone X to get laggy and slow down, and eventually become unresponsive, until the app crashes. Not sure if this is a known bug or something specific to my device? Otherwise I absolutely love the app
  • Money hungry. You're better off with any other app

    By Two Sugars Taylor
This app looks nice at first, but they want to charge you for basic features that you can get on any other Reddit client. Wanna submit a post? $2.99.
  • Great but

    By Tman782
This app is does all you ask of it, but I wish you could swipe to go in and out of posts, instead of hitting a back button on the top left of the screen
  • You can’t even post if you don’t pay money

    By Surgenwar
  • Far better than the regular reddit app!

    By Mapplesmith
Look just try it. You’ll like it way more, it has an active developer and a bunch of features that you won’t find on the native app. Also the developer is Canadian. And Canadians are always nice people. This is THE app if you have an iPhone. Trust me. Gif scrubbing and gifs load faster, cool themes and app icons are interchangeable is by far the coolest part. It’s way better than anything else, and since the developer is one guy you don’t get ads.
  • Needs to remember where I was

    By bigPixel
This would be a 5 star app if it didn't forget where I was every time I close the app. The reddit app, as bad as it Is, at least remembers the last place I was reading. Fix that and this becomes the best reddit app hands down.
  • Not paying reddit again

    By Bellevue Fine Art Repro
What is the deal with Reddit discontinuing alienblue, then releasing Apollo? I paid for alienblue. I’m not paying Reddit to release a different app every year. Complete nonsense
  • Best reddit app, best dev!

    By SureLockHomes_sc
Apollo simply can’t be beat when selecting the best reddit app for iOS. It’s intuitive design, highly customizable features and general ease of use makes browsing a fluid experience. The dev is very open, responsive and engaged with the community on the Apollo subreddit. Rarely will an issue go unresolved for more than one update. I was happy to purchase the ‘pro’ version for a few extra features; this app is definitely worth the couple bucks!
  • Very good balance and excellent gestures and short cuts

    By Review 161
Overall, best iOS Reddit app I have tried. Two suggestions: make the post button toggle between home and subreddits. This will reduce the need to reach to the top of the screen to get back to home posts. The second suggestion is darken the line separating the post to make it easy to follow the posts.
