Sweatcoin - Coin For Sweat App App Details

The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

  • Not working with Fitbit 🤔

By I'm not actually rating this
So it is really a bummer that the app refuses too work with Fitbit. They blame Fitbit but Fitbit is very open to partnerships. The GPS tracking is really a drain on battery life and I can’t keep it on my phone. Please work with Fitbit then I will Change my rating to 5 stars

  • DELETE! DO THE MATH

I did the math. If I was looking to buy a Samsung TV for 20,000 SWC it'll 11years because of the $150/per month limit with the free "mover" subscription. Even with the "breaker" subscription, earning up to 600 SWC per month it'll take almost 3 years to get the tv. F*ck that. DELETE until u take the limit off. I honestly think you guys are making a killing somehow with this app. I'm ain't even mad if you're getting your money. Do your thing. Just know we ain't stupid. We'll some of them are but I ain't 😂
  • Let me save you some time and data

They say this is a fitness app, but make no mistake it is a referral app. For every 1,000 steps you take OUTSIDE (although You’re not credited for most of them), you get 1 coin. In order to get a $50 amazon card it is 3,650 coins which equates to 3,650,000 steps. On average a person walks 2,000 steps a day, and less than half are counted and they must be outside according to the app. Whereas you invite 1 person and you get 5 coins. The equivalent of 5,000 steps. Or 2 1/2 days of steps (if they were all counted) My opinion: save your data and don’t bother.
  • Don't bother

I deleted this after just one day. I walked over 13,000 steps, over 12,000 of which were outdoors, & it stopped counting after 5,000. I did find out how to "upgrade" but it was extremely difficult to find. So far today it still hasn't counted more than 5,000 steps but I'll give it a little more time. Update 12/4/2017: As others have said, it is very poor at counting "outdoor" steps even if "battery saver" is turned off. And it "eats" battery even with battery saver on. As soon as I get enough "coins" (along with the contributions from my family) to "buy" a Misfit tracker I'm deleting this app. Also, when I downgraded from one level to the next about a week after it charged me for the higher level, it charged me again for the lower level. 12/15/2017 - with each update it gets worse & worse at counting steps. Sending a request to support is useless. They responded to someone else's e-mail (subject & all) to my address & never responded again. 1/18/2018 - I did finally get my Misfit Shine 2 tracker & was surprised to not have to pay any additional real money as most of their items require. But it's just not worth it to continue. Anything worthwhile will take years to collect enough coins even with contributions from family & friends. It just uses too much battery & still doesn't count steps correctly. IF, & only if, you swing your arm widely while walking will it come close to the number of steps you actually walk. Who walks like that? Certainly not me!
  • Possibly an insurance proposal?

I love this app! You should think about taking a proposal to heath Insurance company’s. Possibly your customers would being able to get a discount on insurance their policies. Some already offer kiosk, tracking steps to save on insurance. If people knew they could make money for their steps they take at work and in their everyday lives, and save on Insurance for bettering their health, you can possibly get many more consumers to use this app. I love it! I use this app to also motivate my children to clean their room. They know they are helping mommy earn extra money for bills, sense their always wanting to give me their allowances. I put the money they earned in their piggy bank, they never know it so they feel they are helping me out. They are also getting exercise and don’t even know it. All just from having moms phone in their pocket cleaning and running around!

This is a great app and a great idea paying people to stay in shape. It needs some improvements. Like inside tracking and connection to fitness trackers like fitbits and others. This makes it so tread meal runners in a small apartment can earn the same way. Inside tracking if your moving it should count as steps. Those are my thoughts and hope the are changed but other whys it’s a great app
