  • Love it but still needs some tweaks

I’m loving this app. I have added so many things so far. Features I love: - I can add various locations - Default locations for categories - Barcode scanner and picture editing Features that could make it AMAZING: - Ability to sort by expiration date, not just by when the items were added/stocked - field indicating if price paid was a sale or regular price - quantities (for multiple portion items) - Android app so I can share with my husband Thank you for this and keep up the great work! Looking forward to future improvements.

This is really helping with my budgeting shopping
  • Best Pantry Inventory App

    By Econjay
This app is is absolutely incredible. I rarely write reviews, however was absolutely compelled to sing it’s praise. The app is designed to manage every reasonable adjustment imaginable and then goes a step beyond. What I like most is that the all of the features (adjustments) are accessible on exactly the screens you would logically expect them to appear. It’s smooth, I emptied my pantry and didn't experience a single glitch while resetting the inventory.. Since I cook and my family usually does not (but they stock the groceries), I love that I can set the pantry shelf for my inventory for them to reference rather than constantly reorganizing. I can’t tell you how much we purged from our pantry I this exercise because we didn’t know it was buried on the wrong shelf or a newer restock was used first. This App has made our life easier without question. I’d give it 50 stars if I could. Well done. Please keep it updated. Other Notes: - The price feature and calculation of my shopping list (Re-Stock) - Brilliant. - The Tie to Amazon - I love this feature because I shop Amazon. Would like to see if it could tie to multiple Grocery options now that online ordering and curbside pick-up is becoming more popular - I wish there was a button to increase the Qty of an item when scanning it in. Rather than a separate action to increase quantity via the item link. Couldn’t the QTY be added next to the Entry Field to add the Best By: expiration date? - Crowd sourcing to update the products and photo database - Exceptional, there were only a handful of items which requires a manual entry. - Will you keep it updated? I’m a little bit worried that there’s no fee for the app and development will cease?
  • Installed, noticed subscription based, deleted

I get it, servers, databases, power... blah blah blah. I have paid pretty high dollar amounts for apps to support developers, I won’t do a subscription or in app purchases. I wanted to like it, I really did. Between cans of soup and rolls of toilet paper 200 items isn’t much for a long term food storage.
  • Life changing

Just started using the app and I honestly am so thankful I came across it. My husband and I are both full-time employees, I am usually the one who does the cooking and with our busy schedules we can never keep track of what we have in the fridge. It gets so bad that when I do have time to cook most of my grocery items are either expired or almost gone. I have high hopes that this app can finally put an end to that!!
  • Loving it!

Just catalogued everything in my kitchen. Super helpful to know what I have in stock. Excited to use this app more. The scan barcode feature is my favorite. Feature request: Display list by order of expiration date so I can plan meals in advance, aside from just what’s surfaced in the “Use Soon” and “Nearing Expiration” list.
  • Needs downloadable list

    By barblibrarian
We don’t use mobile phones, so we either need access to WiFi or access to a downloaded grocery list. Most of the grocery stores in our area don’t have customer WiFi. We need Pantry Check to provide a way for us to access our list when we don’t have the ability to get it from the cloud. Even if I had to manually update the app once I had access, it would still be worth it to me. I am currently moving my grocery lists to AnyList so I can use it offline. So, I can’t use all of the features available on Pantry Check. The inventory process is great and we will continue using the app for this purpose.
  • Overzealous notifications

    By ladiebug75
I’m loving most things about the app. It was very easy to load all of my pantry items in. It is a very organized way to keep track of what I have. My only issue is with the more than daily notifications about things expiring. I would be happy if I could change the notification criteria and how often I get notified. Right now my choice about expiring notifications Is either on or off.
  • Fantastic app

Helps keep track of your inventory easily. The scanner works for just about every item. Also the automatic reminders helps alert you to use your food before it expires.
  • Pricing

There should be a way to record item price
