  • Just okay

I purchased this from HSN. My understanding was that there was no subscription needed. But without the subscription you only get a nine seconds long video with no sound. Overall the product was OK but it seems to be logging me out quite often and I need to log back in again.
  • Great tool - easy to use for monitoring.

    Would recommend it to all.
  • Crashes

This app crashes constantly and won't load the camera. If someone were actually breaking in, I wouldn't even be able to see them. It also doesn't catch the people people walking up to the door most of the time even though the internet connection is 100%. It does record maybe half of the time. I wouldn't pay extra for the extra features because the app is so faulty. Please fix these app issues. It would be a great security system if it weren't for the app issues.
  • A watchdog

I use mine to watch my dogs when I’m away and the previous review, I thought, was terribly harsh. This camera is based on if you have a great internet connection and if your router is working properly. Mine is and it doesn’t take 60-75 seconds to load. And the night vision is great. I tell everyone I want more and because my daughter got this for me for Mother’s Day more will be coming.
  • Great app

Love this app. Great way to monitor the security in your home. Or even just take a peek to see if the dog is sleeping on the couch when you are in a different room LOL.
  • Decent, but will probably upgrade

Camera times out, even when plugged in. But the night vision works well.
  • Great camera

    Works great
  • No good

I really want to like this thing, set up was really easy, but performance is terrible. The cameras reaction time is awful! It takes so long to begin recording movement that 9.9 times out of 10 whatever came into the cameras field of view is gone before it ever even starts recording, so you end up with tons of 30 second clips of nothing. I have this installed right on my front porch and I can literally walk out of my house, get into my car and drive off all before the camera even wakes up. And once the camera HAS recorded a 30 second clip it will not record another one for a good 3 or 4 minutes, so even if someone was to walk up to my house and the camera somehow did catch it, the odds of it recording enough back to back video to actually capture said person doing something wrong is slim to none. Yesterday a FedEx guy dropped a package off right on my doorstep and the camera didn't even get a picture of the truck!
  • Not dependable enough to monitor your stuff.

As a camera to catch a thief it just isn't dependable enough. It crashes a lot. Im getting really sick of the false notifications so they can advertise their poor cloud service and lousy home monitoring. The more you buy the more spam you get. Their auto arm setting is terrible. They should make it so you can set the distance you have to be in order to auto dis arm. It turns on when you're a half mile away. I would recommend SkyBell as long as you have a good wifi connection. Skybell has free 30 second video clips with audio. The false alarms are way less than the gaurdzilla. D -link cameras are even out performing gaurdzilla. I recommend to stay away from this camera system. Trust me i spent $550 for 5 of these paper weights. If you're stuck with these and want to make em better take the stupid tinted cover off. Good quick rich scheme they played in my opinion.
  • Crashes, Records too late, no time stamp

    By Bandittaco
I first bought the indoor camera but it blinded itself when viewed through glass and the motion detection was awful. I switched to the outdoor and now I don't have time stamps! The app has trouble running and crashes each time it's opened. The event history records after whatever event took place so you can't catch the bad guys. It flaunts no monthly fees on the packaging but you can only view a 5 second soundless clip of an event after it happened. The monthly fee gives you 30 seconds of too late video and sound, but it doesn't tell you the outdoor camera doesn't have a mic or speakers or a panic alarm. The infrared range is also about ten feet, the clarity is about 5 feet at night on maximum resolution. If you lose power or internet this security camera won't work AT ALL. The cloud subscription only saves late clips, not the entire video. 0/10
