  • Update is a disaster

Not sure it would be possible to engineer a more confusing user interface than this recent update. What a nightmare! Whoever approved this at Amazon really should be looking for a different career.
  • New app update is useless

I’ve been using this app for a long time and loved that I could tap into any of my echos and play music and such. Mostly used it for my toddlers room to play lullabies while he’s sleeping. I was able to easily turn it on/off and adjust the volume without being in the room....but now I can’t even access his rooms echo through this app. Occasionally I’ll get lucky and a bar will pop up saying his room is playing music and from there I can do what I need to do. However, times like this morning I literally can’t do anything. If I could go back to the old version I would. I already have great apps to adjust my hue lighting systems and nest. This app has become pointless.

With the latest update the playback controls have disappeared (pause, back, forward, volume). I play music music in my sons room and before the update I was able to pause the music when he fell asleep without having to go in his room. Very disappointed
  • Search Bar Difficult to Click

When I try to search in the skills and game menu, I have to click the search bar area numerous times to start typing. The app is not freezing because I will click everywhere else and it seems to work fine.

  • Worst update in history!!!

I have 7 echo devices. Have 100+ smart devices that the Alexa app and Alexa helped managed. NOT NOW!! The updated Alexa app is unresponsive, unfit and unusable!!! Bring back the old app as a legacy solution until the NEW app is fixed...NOW!

I mainly use it for alarms and timers but that isn’t working, so it is useless to me now.

This App has never been great. But since the new update it’s completely useless. The update that released around October 11th 2018 has completely ruined my Alexa experience. Takes too long to access anything. Please fix the bugs ASAP.

This app was great prior to the upgrade now it’s bad. You have to press so hard on the screen, I fear I might break the screen on any of my iOS device. Hate trying to use the app, it’s very slow to open, and it locks up. Fix this
