  • Cannot sync

    Good, but apparently you can only sync 1 time every 10 hours... I had a deposit that I am trying to see on the app, but it says I have to wait 10 hours for the next opportunity which is very inconvenient. While I like everything else about this app, when I am paying money every month, I shouldn’t be faced with this limitation. This may be the sole reason I cancel my subscription and leave...
  • Still using emojis/icons! Why?

    Sometimes a picture can explain a thousand words ..... not so for any financial app ...... If this needs to be explained then shame on them! Great app with great features, easily a 5 Star app .... However Believe it or not, We can’t use this app because of this. I’m giving this only one star because of this icon/emoji nonsense. As soon as the option to remove my rating shall go to the top.
  • Got syncing problems

    The iOS app doesn’t always synchronize when I adde or change something. Even though the “last updated” time is just now, the data is not the exactly same with the data on my MacBook . Since there is also an auto-backup failure on my MacBook, I am afraid of losing data someday. So seriously guys, please put more work on these data security problems rather than a fancy new version app.
  • Really disappointing

    This software is a huge disappointment. The UI appears modern, but is overly complex for what it offers. It's also highly inefficient and slow. Support is where this app fails the most though. I've never been able to get anywhere with them and have always left the experience highly irritated. They seem to always fail to grasp the issues that I’m writing in about. Instead of being polite and trying to gain perspective on what I’m talking about, they seem rigid and disinterested. They never even pretend to try to understand, instead acting dismissive. It’s incredibly frustrating. I almost feel as though it’s related to a language barrier, but then realize it can’t be that. When I report a bug (and there have been many), they always say they can’t duplicate it. Am I to believe that every bug I’ve experienced is isolated to my iPhone? I don’t use the bank sync feature, but based on other reviews, the poor support and an overall lack of trust in this developer, I wouldn’t use such a feature anyway, as who knows if they are reputable enough to protect the security of my accounts. I still can’t get a reasonable answer from support as to why they have two separate lines - one for category and the other for description, where the description field fills automatically with what’s been chosen as the category. Even if you manually delete this preposterous redundancy, it still automatically re-populates the field. How about the awful reconcile mode, where all you can do is check off transactions without being able to see a running balance of your cleared (reconciled) transactions? I could go on, but between the clunky UI (annoying and unnecessary icons), redundancies, slowness and horrendous (not to mention rude and arrogant) support, I couldn’t give a good review. These guys are just not people persons. I like PocketMoney much better, but even their new developer has a lot to learn on the support front.

    Last update has broken touchID. Keeps asking me for a PIN. Can’t login now. Absolutely worthless app. Update: reset touchID. Still prompted for a PIN every time. Will migrate my account balances to another app if I can get back into MoneyWiz.
  • responsive technical support

    responsive technical support, neat user interface. Except some implicit behaviors need to be documented well. e.g. transaction date on duplicated record confuses user, sometimes it uses current date, sometimes it uses the date of the original record being duplicated. And I think this should be decided by user with an checkbox instead of setting it implicitly.
  • A Downgrade for Me

    MoneyWiz has been bothering me to upgrade to version 2 for a long time now and I’ve been ignoring it because the first version was exactly what I wanted and needed. Now I’ve upgraded my phone and the original version is no longer available. I decided to give it a try. This app is a complete downgrade to me. I hate the user interface. Will no longer use or recommend.

    I have used this since maybe something like 2012. It’s great I always bought the newest version for each device except the pc. I used the pc version for free so I could more easily reconcile my accounts with a mouse bit syncbits now does not work on it. The company is probably getting greedy. Otherwise 5 stars
  • Awesome finance app!

    Had some problems but I got in contact with the developer and he walked me through an easy fix and all my accounts are working great across all my devices! Love it!
