Over 50 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behaviour. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. What the hell are they thinking to have it in size 5 font and white on yellow?!? It is very difficult to read!!!! Change that!!! At least make it black on yellow. White on yellow is like dark pink on red. Ridiculous. Increase the font size and provide greater contrast. Thank you.

Honestly I’m a little disappointed with the lack of interaction on this app. I’ve been on for a week and I matched with 2 people the first day and nothing since but the app insists on telling me there are no bees left. My search parameters are broad. My location is populated. My only other option seems to be to pay Bumble to see the people that like me that I didn’t like? This app has accomplished nothing but giving me a complex.

They charged my iTunes account and refused to properly communicate/refund me. No support number or anything. For such a major app I expected better..

I downloaded Bumble to see how it stacks up to the other dating apps and from other’s accounts of it being a great app. I’ve tried it for about two months and I’m having mixed reviews about the app in general. I’m finding that the concept was met with great expectations but the overall execution is a bit of a dud and I’ll get into detail on it. So from the start it’s pretty easy to put together a profile that you use to advertise who you are to those that you are interested in. Be advised that Bumble caters to women, it states so in there description, and they control who they view and decide if they want to contact you. As a guy on this app, I’m fine with what the creators are trying to accomplish but I do find that there are some issues with how this works. Sometimes it takes days, weeks and even months till you even get so much as an interested party and that is where you hit your first roadblock. To view the person that is in your queue (that area that shows who is interested in you) you need to purchase a Bumble Boost package. I was a little hesitant in purchasing the Boost package (since you only have a 24 hour window before the queue is cleared) but I caved in and decided to try it out. You should’ve seen the disappointment on my face after making my decision and seeing the terrible results of my queue. So I do have a terrible gripe with Bumble’s business model and to make it even sound more of a bad cash grab they have another option called Spotlight, which highlights your profile more to others on the app, that is even more expensive than Boost and it is a separate option. I think they purposely made it so that people who have poor viewership would buy it to allow more people to see them pass the normal filter that the app has in place. Seriously...why not merge the two options. At least that would justify paying the sort of ridiculous pricing for using them and for time rates that they offer currently. So for how much of a tease Bumble can be (if you are a guy like me...not sure how it is like on the lady’s side) if think they do have some potential to be a really good app but they seriously need to rethink a better formula on how they operate moving forward.

After paying for a lifetime of premium bumble, I was banned and they wouldn’t tell me why. F*ck these people and this app.
  • Nice to see his side where the women are in powered to initiate the contact.

I have tried match.com and eHarmony in the past with mixed results. You’re concept and idea of women initiating the flor is intriguing.. hoping for some responses (???) Tom Graham

Don’t spend any money on this app, it’s not worth it. Filters are poor, they may as well not exist. There’s very little actual interaction and women, those who are supposed to be empowered by the app, still expect men to take the lead (which isn’t a bad thing per se but not on this app). If you’re looking for a hook up or mild entertainment this app is ok, other than that it’s pointless. UPDATE: Sure enough, I received the same generic canned response telling me to reach out through impersonal means like Twitter or Facebook since that almost makes sense. I didn’t mention previously but I had been a paying user in the past, I’m not just speaking from the perspective of using the free version of the app. I honestly don’t see the point of using an app that has you fill out profiling information and then floods your feed with women possessing deal breakers. A seriously flawed product.
