Bumble - Meet New People App Details

Over 30 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble: On Bumble, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use. I have 22 matches for BFF and I have to pay to see them or talk to them? Is this a joke?

So far, a waste of time for the $ spend. I need filters for race and education level.
  • Yet another waste of time.

So I’ve on/off used this app for about a year and a half. I’ve never once had conversation with someone that lasted long enough to exchange numbers or even go on a date. Hell, as a man on this it’s rare as hell to even get a match unless you truly lower your standards and just swipe right on every profile. The ‘Bumble Boost’ is a scam and I sure wish I could get my money back. It does absolutely nothing to help you get matches or even help you stand out. The only feature it does is allow you to see who swiped right on your profile. I recently had moved to a whole new state and decided to purchase a three month subscription, in hopes to meet local people or maybe go on dates. I actively used it every day/every other day in hopes that the more I use it, the better chances of getting a match or something... I swiped right on at least well over a hundred profiles in those three months... I got four matches. Two of which were accidental right swipes, the other two never even messaged me. Four matches in three months, I used the app regularly and I truly don’t have any type of high standards and I’m not an ugly dude. A week after my subscription to Bumble Boost ends, all the sudden now I have people right swiping me in my ‘queue’ or whatever it is that I can’t see unless I buy Boost, smh. The fact that Boost doesn’t even give you free BumbleCoins daily, something even like 2 free BumbleCoins a day or something would be nice. I have literally purchased EXTRA BumbleCoins on top of my subscription and never got matches. So now I’ve probably spent a little closer to $100 on an app that hasn’t even produced one date in over a year. Waste of time.

  • Haven’t had a match

I don’t think this app is working correctly. I haven’t had one match. When I click to see if there is a match it shows someone the disappears real quick.
  • They scam you for your money

By review of tinder i mean bumble
I was charged for a 3 month membership that I never signed up for. It happened when I agreed to a two week trial. I am hoping I get my money back! I’ve sent an email to support but have yet to hear anything. I wouldn’t pay for the Bumble Boost primarily because I’m always “out of people” unless I change my radius to 50 plus miles away. I live in a relatively large urban area and I rarely-never match with anyone I’m interested in. That doesn’t make me feel like I’m taking the lead...

  • Dont contact bumble, they wont reply

My account frozen, jammed and was stuck. It wanted me to upload a profile picture, so I did. It would never get out of that setting and wouldnt let me move forward with the process. I uploaded several times. Emailed technical because you cant call them, they dont provide a phone number. Days went by. Emailed 3 times with no response. Not very pleasant experience when it is time sensitive on match ups. Deleted the app and moving on to another. No help from them!
