  • Only Camera App You Need

    By _this_is_Andrew
This app is essential to the mobile photography revolution. Moment makes phenomenal lenses and now they’re taking it a step further by focusing on the tools you use to take photos and video with your phone. This app will only improve with time so definitely download it if you love taking photos or video and want the best quality you can get from your phone. Also check out Moment’s gear @ P.S. If you didn’t know. Anamorphic lens is coming soon!
  • Full flexibility at your fingertips - and not just for pros

    By GlobalRoamer
Just to set things straight from the beginning - I’m not a camera jockey. I’m just a normal guy who likes to take pics and who has, over the years of SLRs and DSLRs, gained an appreciation for the nuances that manual overrides can bring to my photography. The iPhone has a great camera, and the native camera app is pretty good with some really nice tools embedded in it (like HDR and Live). But when it comes to taking charge of your photography and spending some more time with it, the Camera app rapidly hits its limits. And THATs where the Moment Camera App picks up the ball and runs with it! I love the ability to manually set my focus point, ISO (light sensitivity = effectively what film speed used to be, and which influences granularity in your photo as well as light sensitivity), shutter speed, and white balance in addition to EV (Exposure Value). And all this in an easy to use format that doesn’t require a dictionary or finger gymnastics to achieve. If you’re more serious about your photography, or use your iPhone for pictures that you want to upload to a particular resource, or energetically rework your pictures after having taken them, the Moment App allows you to shoot in various different formats (TIFF, RAW) in addition to standard formats like JPG. AND, you can choose to use (or not use) Apple’s newest compression algorithms. And then there’s all the add-on for which the Moment App is designed that enhance and expand your photography even more: the palette of lenses (Telephoto, Wide, FishEye, Macro and more) and the Cases. The lenses are among the best I’ve ever used (and I’ve tried my share...), with top quality optics and super solid construction. Ok, so much for descriptions... is the Moment App worth getting and paying money for? Absolutely. Hands down. The enhanced flexibility and control the app gives are excellent, the ease of use is great, and the support (should something ever come up) is personable and professional. It has effectively replaced the native App for me (except when I want Live photos, or want to shoot in 16:9...). For everything else, I reach for Moment.
  • The free Version just Like real camera app

    By Amirrreza
Guys if you wanted to download this app because it's Free, Don't! The Free version is just like real camera app Only You can change EV on this app :|
  • Not what you think

    By K1008g
This app is advertised to be the free version of all other apps that cost money for the same purpose of being a manual camera. You do not get todo any of the promised features without paying for the “full” package. Disappointing to say the least.
  • There’s no real free or useful camera... Scam

    By Book guy FL
While a “camera” can be downloaded, it’s not really usable. There are many free cameras with better capabilities. Worse, you can’t touch a control without a dialog box popping up to tell you that you either can’t do that, or to use it better, you would have to buy the full version. After getting rid of the dialog box a few dozen times, I ultimately deleted the app. It’s really just a dialog popping camera ad. It was so bad, I only got a test picture or two of the point and click type - for dismissing the dialog many times. They are legends in their own minds. Arrogant. Nobody needs that many dialog boxes for such mediocre functionality!
  • Very well done

    By TangoRomeo85
This is a very well put together app. The controllers are simple but still give more fine-tuning than you will find in any native app. I wish there was a way to save preset preferences for outdoor, indoor, low light situations and a flat video profile preset would be nice. But that's a small request that can hopefully be added in an update. An all around great app.
  • Concept is good

    By Stuart1949
This is just a way to get you to buy the upgraded version. It sort of works but when you try a thing you get sent right to the b upgrade screen. Bait and switch
  • Decent camera app - mediocre video app

    By smileyvelveeta
The camera portion of the app is ok. Decent. Works fairly well with Moment lenses or just with your standard phone lenses. Overall the app is still a little buggy, but hopefully they get it all worked out soon. If you want to shoot good video on your phone, skip this app and go for Filmic Pro. This app just isn’t there yet for video. Sadly, that’s what I use my Moment lenses for, so I won’t be using this app until they catch up to Filmic Pro, if they ever do.
  • Don’t waste your money.

    By csphoto
OK if you don’t mind you’re expensive lenses becoming obsolete after a few phone upgrades. I spent over $200 on lenses and accessories only to now have them become useless on my iPhone 7 Plus.
  • iPhone 6 does not support RAW

    By Rungel50
Please issue a refund as I purchased the app for the ability to shoot RAW images. My iPhone 6 Plus does not support RAW as this option is not in the app.
