My kidslox has been locked up for 5 days saying pending.
  • Virus or Bug?

Randomly decided to reinstall itself and go into lockdown mode after I uninstalled the app. I was pretty scared for a good 10 minutes at least.
  • Missing child location

This is a great app and it’s helpful but you’re missing child location and it doesn’t completely lock the kids phone. The can still text during school hours even with the restricted school schedule..
  • Somewhat useful

If I could see what my child is doing and texting then it might be worth the money. I have 4 children and need to keep them safe from sex traffickers since they have started to text my children and I don’t know that unless I go into their phones. There is no text blocking on this app. The price is good but not for what it offers. Update it and it will be first on my list.
  • Lots of Negative Symptoms

After downloading this app, my App Store disappeared on all accounts. Then, all of my explicit music was hidden even though the settings on my profile were set to allow explicit. Rearranged apps for some reason. Poorly debugged app, it was difficult to finally get rid of. I factory reset my phone because I was so worried (even after deleting the app I was having these problems).
  • Do Not Use!!

Bought this, paid for 6 months premium and about a month or so into it my 11 years old son figured out a loophole so he can have unlimited game playing day and night. If he puts his iPad into airplane mode before I lock it down then it’s bypassed. There’s nothing you can do about it either and Kidslox doesn’t care bc you should have just known this could happen bc it states they need internet. Well duh, I was on the internet. That doesn’t mean the average person is aware your product is crap if your kid is smarter than your developers.
  • Great...when it works

This app is great when it works. However, SURPRISE! The server is under maintenance so your kids iPad is a useless paperweight for an undetermined amount of time. There is no warning or notification so you can scramble to make sure the iPad won’t get locked out. Randomly, the VPN will malfunction or not connect leading me to “fix” the iPad every five minutes (forget WiFi network, reconnect, toggle VPN, repeat). Any time there’s an Apple update or daylight savings time or solar flare, the app doesn’t work or takes 10 minutes to connect. It also has occasionally logged me completely out or deletes the profile.
  • App took over my phone

I deleted this app a day after using it and it’s still been shutting down my phone and messing with my apps for two weeks. My App Store sometimes disappears for days at a time. As I said before, I deleted the app, but it still controls my phone. I don’t know how to fix this.
  • Doesn’t lock important stuff

Kids playing games and worried about them clicking your personal stuff like emails, text? Didn’t lock on mine just took some icons away. Next *UPDate. After I deleted the app it starts working when I clock the home button 3x. My icons are screwed up but I don’t care the app is working for me no that’s all that matters in this review. Update to 3 stars. Please let me know when you fix it.
  • Ok... But Weird Things Have Happened

At first, it really helped me limit my screen time. Once the free trial ended, I still used it. Soon, I wanted to uninstall it because it was taking up a lot of space on my phone. When I tried to uninstall it, it duplicated itself! I uninstalled one of the duplicates, expecting the other one to go with it. It is still on my phone and I can’t get it off. I’m not sure why.... However, very useful app. 👍
