  • Absolutely riddled with bugs

Software is useless. It mysteriously adds hours to your kids phone. It doesn't consistently switch between lockdown or monitored (child) mode. Even leaving support requests is troublesome. In all, this software is more headache than useful.

Irritable and useless if you just use it without signing for Premium of $12/month or services or so. Basic will provide just disable services for a certain time period and beyond that if you need any thing you got to pay😬
  • Don’t download

My kids (mainly the 10 year old) hate it so I of course love it as it is doing its job. My 10 year old asked why I put it on there and I explained it was because she was takin. Advantage of the opportunity to utilize her tablet for learning purposes (the reason I got it) and spending way too much time on it and just using it for entertainment and not the learning apps. Now I am able to make it so that all that she can access is her educational stuff, her messenger kids so she can chat with the grandparents, and 1 purely entertainment thing that she is only able to access on the weekends now that’s to this app :).

Kidslox is respectable and is helpful in its own way and I’m a kid. But sooner or later you get the feeling that your to old for it and your parents get so used to Kidslox that you have it at 15. It scrambles, disables and deletes apps too and it jacked up my phone. Don’t get me wrong, honestly it’s not a bad idea but Kidslox is a little bit of a pain I personally would not use this app but that’s just my opinion some might feel differently, like I said Kidslox is helpful in its own way.

I Recently Added Kidslox to both my children’s devices. My sons was locked out and I had to completely reset his iPhone and reload Kidslox to get his Internet working again. Now it’s happened to my daughters iPhone as well. I paid for a year of service and I am completely dissatisfied so far. I sent in a help ticket tonight to see if I can get help fixing the situation and I got an out of office reply. I am not very happy with this product so far and will probably be seeking a refund for the service.
  • Really great, five stars with room to keep improving...

I’ve had the app for about six months. It’s very handy to be able to see just how much screen time my teenager has on a daily basis. And it’s nice to be able to automate the duly schedule to whatever we need it to be... There are some areas I wish it could be better in... Firstly, I wish I could monitor and disable/enable texting. There are just some nights where I forget to collect her phone, and even though she can’t use it for Instagram, she can still spend her night texting friends without us knowing about it. Secondly, being able to set time restrictions to entertainment apps specifically... there have been many times my daughter has complained to me that her apps shut off simply because she had music playing without actually using her phone for anything else. It would be nice to have some sort of control over that, but I’m not sure how you would practically implement that. Lastly, I’d love to have the weekly reports reflect exactly how much time was spent within specific apps. Which kind of ties into my previous point... my daughter complains that her apps shut off because she only used the music app, but I don’t actually know if she’s being truthful, I have no evidence of that... All-in-all, great app! Hopefully it continues to improve!
  • My son was still able to download app.

My son was still able to download app. Once the phone went into “sleep “ mode from 8pm to 6am He was also able to play games that didn’t require the internet. Ugh! Very frustrating.
