Inbox by Gmail App Details

Your email inbox should help you live and work better, but instead it often buries the important stuff and creates more stress than it relieves. Inbox, built by the Gmail team, keeps things organized and helps you get back to what matters. • HIGHLIGHTS - Get the most important information without even opening the message. Check-in for flights, see shipping information for purchases, and view photos from friends right up front. • BUNDLES - Similar messages are bundled together so you can deal with them all at once. And get rid of them with one swipe. • REMINDERS - More than mail, you can add Reminders so your inbox contains all the things you need to get back to. • SNOOZE - Snooze emails and Reminders to come back when you are ready to deal with them: next week, when you get home, or whenever you choose. • SEARCH - Inbox helps you find exactly what you’re looking for— from your upcoming flight to a friend's address— without having to dig through messages. • WORKS WITH GMAIL - Inbox is built by the Gmail team, so all your messages from Gmail are here, along with the reliability and spam protection of Gmail. All of your messages are still in Gmail and always will be.

Still no support for ten month old iPhone X.
  • Please iPhone x support

    By Jaydotjaymill
I like this app but the lack of support for iPhone x 6+ months later is pretty wack.
  • Iphone x?

When will you optimise it for the iPhone X ? It is already almost 1 year without support ...
  • Needs work

I love inbox on desktop and Android. But the IOS version seriously needs work. Especially for the iPhone X. Refresh the app guys so it doesn’t feel like I have a 4” screen. We know you can do it.
  • No Keyboard Support Whatsoever

    By Nicknamesseempointlesshere
One of my favorite things about Inbox on my desktop is the extensive ability to use keyboard shortcuts - I can zip through tons of email super quickly without ever touching the mouse. I did not expect that every shortcut would carry over to the iPad application, but I had hoped at least a few would. I was incredibly disappointed to find out that not only are there no keyboard shortcuts, there is no keyboard support at all! That’s right, not even the up and down arrow keys will scroll the screen. I will keep this app on my iPad for use in a pinch, but it is really crippled in terms of being able to process your mail - because of the large screen, all the swipes must be larger and more deliberate than on the smaller phone app, all the buttons are further apart etc - feels like I’m running through molasses compared to the same app on my phone - it’s actually worse than on the phone, which is too bad, when even basic keyboard support (next and previous mail and marking things “done”) would improve it massively.
  • Love it!

  • Please bring back the someday button on mobile

    By AgentSteph
I’ve been using Inbox for a while and I really like it, but the latest update made the “someday” button does appear as a Boomarang function from my mobile. Please, please, please bring this back.
  • Classic disingenuous ratings request

    By bsdfm
Interrupts you to rate it if you like it and not rate it if you don’t. This is rude and dishonest and directly opposed to the purpose of the app: let you manage email quickly and without interrupting other work. This was rude and dishonest before Apple shipped an honest and polite solution for requesting ratings in March, 4 months ago, which they have not implemented. I wouldn’t normally do the “1-star until you x” review, but this is emblematic of other ways this app is incoherent. I’m still using it. I want it to work. Not sure I’ll stick with it.
