  • Apple Watch Issues

There is no map on Apple Watch so you have to use your phone screen, and the turn by turn voice instructions are not coming up either. Does the paid version include these features?
  • In the back country and on the road

    By TQ-Rider
I've been using the app since it came out in 2014 and it only gets better with more features each year. Offline maps for the back country bikepacking. Live Logging for my group training rides. So much easier to use than any model Garmin I've tried. The new ADD POI feature while recording is so dang useful!
  • Cool App

It’s a cool and popular app. I use it when I go century miles. I like the option that I can buy it monthly.
  • So promising, NOT worth the high sub fees!

    By fogboypdx
    A. The interface for plotting a route is very confusing and you cannot choose starting and ending points. Only starting points. B. Very frequently the app would alert me I was off course, only to let me know right away I was on course again. C. The app told me to turn right (and the directional cue read it also), when the map showed clearly it was a left turn (at a dead-end T, so no confusion about which way was possible). D. A route I chose, about 3/4 of the way through, had me going on the interstate freeway! With no warning that this would be such a dangerous ride. For al these reasons and more having to do with a very clunky interface, I will be cancelling this very expensive service and deleting the app - for which I had such high hopes.
  • Great at what it does

    By eichlerguy2
I use this app multiple times a week for commutes and longer road rides. For the latter, being new to the idea and not knowing my way around, the turn-by-turn feature lets me focus on the ride instead of navigation. The prompts are timed perfectly. I like to mix up routes, enter loops at arbitrary spots, and go off route. RWGPS follows suit and seems to be smart about ride variations, which I appreciate. Essential.
  • App needs work

Tried to set up an account. Error message says invalid email. Don’t want to link a Facebook account to it.
  • Great Cycling App

    By Ww327
I’ve used Runtastic and Map My Ride and deleted them after downloading this app. This app is easier to use and has more functionality. Great for planning routes and searching for routes, especially useful when traveling.
  • It works and I don’t get bombarded with people I don’t know per Strava

    By DN AZ
The paid version of Strava won’t stop throwing suggestions of who I should follow, most of who I don’t know, and adverts. I use this for cycling, not as a social club. The turn by turn is better, and I can invite friends to segments we make on this too. No reason not to use.
  • Mobile Mapping?

    By Portiblo
Super awesome app! I love planning new rides from my computer, but I would really like to plan them from my phone because zooming in on roads is much easier from my phone. I know of a few apps where you can plot runs and bike rides but this app is much better. Any chance of an update for mobile mapping?
  • Super responsive support

    By Rodoc1
I’m a multi year user of Ride With GPS. Last weekend I downloaded a charity ride route. Some how my default settings were changed. I was unable to figure out how to restore my configuration. An email to Support was answered the same day; Brian H respond with the fix. Thanks, that’s great customer service.
