The League: Intelligent Dating App Details

Want to date someone who shares your drive? And maybe you'd like to meet someone attractive who looks good in black-and-white photos, courteous enough to use proper punctuation, and flexible enough to fit into your way-too-restrictive schedule? While your mother may call you picky, we call you self-aware. It’s happy hour, so go get ’em.' We’ll do the vetting so you can do the petting. League users now have the option of becoming members by purchasing several subscription options. Membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects and invites to exclusive events. Depending on what term you choose, your Membership will last for 1 month, 6 months, or 12 months, and automatically renew at those intervals from the point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your membership before it renews, you must do so at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. See terms and conditions at and our privacy policy

App Reviews

  • Try Hard

    By realnick
This app is the equivalent to the person who wants to be something they are not. They want to be sexy and portray a prestigious, educated, trendy feels so fake. Then after about a month, the app will run out people in your city. Don’t think it will ever catch on.

Pretty cool.. people complaining how they have been on the wait list for months or years... Step your game up! Took me 3 hours to get in. Quality women but only 3 prospects a day is garbage. Give me atleast 5 lol and no I'm not paying for the perks as it is actually way over priced.

  • The worst

Wish I could get my money back-turns out I could have done all I was already doing with the free one, they made seem like I had to pay and I didn’t. I am out $200 bucks and have had 2 matches in 3 months 🙄

What this app doesn’t tell you is there are hardly any members. After a month of using the app I started to get recommendations that are entirely 2.5-5 hours from me, which is a complete waste of time. They ask for hundreds and thousands of dollars per year for membership and show a “huge” waitlist to convince people they’re the best most professional dating app when in fact it’s just a very expensive version of Tinder. I highly recommend you stick to the free membership and not pay a single dollar...
  • Don’t do it!

This app claims to provide well established, educated men. Don’t be fooled.

To start, I’m still new to the app. But I would have to say, I’ve find it interesting. Now to address a few points. After reading some of the other comments, I would like to offer a bit of an unpopular view regarding dating apps. Firstly, I disagree with a previous comment arguing that other dating apps are instant gratification based compared to this app. I have used a number of other apps, Bumble, OkCupid, Meetme, ChristianMingle, etc... one thing I’ve learned is that seeking someone great takes time. Even when you match, a lot of people ignore those matches. You don’t even get to talk to them. What I like about league is that even though I haven’t matched with anyone yet, I enjoy chatting in the groups. This is very important me. Conversation is necessary, and I understand why other reviewers had issue with the app service not offering enough matches. This leads to my next point, I disagree with the assumption that these people are just looking for hookups. Based a number of comments I’ve read, I’m not evidence that all of them are looking for hookups. It appears they are looking for more inactive communication. Which is common to dating period. Even people who date offline, have the opportunity to talk to a number of people while out mingling. This is not unrealistic. While I’m all for patience, I agree with them about being able to at least talk to a match from time to time. I haven’t met with someone in over 2 years. When you are looking for someone real, it will take time regardless of where you look. So, as someone who is not into hooking up. I haven’t experienced any instant gratification on other dating sites. It’s been pretty dry for me. I am hoping The League would be more effective, but it appears slow is a hard trend with dating sites. But as I mentioned before, the groups make up for the lack of ability to talk matches a little more often. Overall, I am enjoying the app, I am open minded. I’m used to having to wait long periods before finding someone worth talking to, so, I can wait. If you are someone who feel that you need more conversation between you and potential dates, this app MAY NOT be for you. Unless you are willing to tide yourself over with the group chats. Offline dating and other apps like Hinge, will PROBABLY be better. I am not someone who believes slower or faster is always better or means special. You know what you need better than reviews or dating advice online. Just be wise and I believe people will find what they need for effective dating. I really can’t accurately say for others what will work for their situation when it comes to these dating apps.
  • Don’t do it not worth the money

Don’t trust the 5 star reviews that they put in your face! This app is a scam and no better than any of the free apps out there!!
  • Worst dating app over tried thus far.

Not engaging at all. At first glance it looks like it is a higher grade and better quality product. It’s more like a long wait for nothing. I’m cancelling my membership and every friend I know that’s on it is also cancelling theirs as well.

Why get off a free site, only to join a site where you have to pay for, an on top of that you can’t even check it out unless you pay, I rate no stars for this app
