  • Amazing Game

This is a great game. There are very few bugs and endless quests within the app. It’s very easy to get caught up in the fun and spend too much on in-app purchases.

I realize the point of releasing a game is to make money. That said, while the game used to be addicting, it isn’t any longer. 1) The cost of IAP is astoundingly ridiculous. 2) We are now forced to watch ads (3 per day, for now). No consideration for any “free play time” we might have either from collecting the 30min free play or purchasing one. 3) After an ad plays the ad becomes less responsive and more sluggish. By the time you’ve watched 5, you’ll need to force close and restart. All of this reduces the enjoyment. You spend as much time waiting and dealing with the slow animation as you do actually playing. 4) The 30min Free play from the daily collection begins the moment you open the app that day, whether you want to play right then or not (most people will login to collect their hourly bonus, but maybe are not ready to play for 30min right that second). 5) After playing a level, the game shows you the current quest progress before going to the next screen. Unfortunately, about 75% of the time the quest progress never loads, making that screen completely useless. 6) The win ratio (likely powered by a controlled Random Number Generator) has gotten worse over time. There are people in my club who haven’t won a game in over a week. Obviously: not fun. All of these things (and more) are reasons NOT to buy IAP in this game. This is probably why they added forced ads, to raise revenue they were not making from IAP. (Or they’re just being greedy). They are also reasons why I personally went from spending 3+ hours per day playing, but now don’t even bother logging in daily. It’s so unfortunate that the devs aren’t beta testing and/or bothering to address these issues. Just like every other bad app, they are more interested in releasing new features, rather than addressing problems. They’re reply to bad reviews is less than personal. It’s “sorry you had that experience, please contact us.” Bah. Fix things so your customers don’t HAVE to contact you in the first place. There’s no excuse to have this many problems.
