  • Highly recommend

I recently took 4 of the tours on my San Francisco vacation. They were amazing. I loved the insight of the narrators and their personal stories. They definitely pointed out places you’d never notice if you were just walking down the street. We had a little bit of difficulty syncing the tours with the 5 people in our group so we ended up just listening individually. It worked fine that way. I hope to do a couple more tours on a New York City trip I have planned for November!

I love this app. Well produced audio, interesting, with various levels of interaction in the tours. So much fun, and the fact that you can sync with friends is awesome. I’ve introduced many to this app, and they all love it. Great work, Detour!
  • I’m new here

    By DGranato
Just moved to a city. This app has helped me learn about my new city in a really neat and personal way that I wouldn’t be able to do by myself.
  • Hard to use

    By c.urmudgeon
Even after getting past the first time confusion, the app is very counterintuitive. I’m deleting it.
  • Always recommend this to friends

We live in SF and have been blown away by so many of these tours. Fabulous experiences. We did one in Philadelphia - which was terrible - so make sure to research who produced it before touring.

Why is it that there aren’t other locations? Why am I set in Chicago when I’m in Tennessee

Such a great way to learn more about your own city, or one you’re visiting. Makes learning history accessible to anyone!
