App Reviews

  • Doesn’t work

I really wanted this app to work for me because a lot of people have been giving good reviews. I wanted to see how much I sleep during the night because I’m a very restless sleeper. I used this twice and both times it said I was awake the whole night.

Hope it fixed the issue with AppleWatch syncing, it didn’t seem to want to again today, but I just now updated 10:00 am.
  • CRASHES after updates😡😡😡😡😡

The first night I used this it worked great. Then came daily updates and now it CRASHES constantly. The first night after the first update (The day I wrote the first review) the app CRASHED after I woke up briefly: and I lost a WHOLE NIGHT of sleep data. To my DISMAY, I picked up my phone and it had REBOOTED. Last night, after yet another update, I was able to finish the session, but the APP CRASHED after I ended the session. Fortunately the data was saved. How about you leave the app alone for a few days after you fix this? I'll try to forward some CHASH LOGS. ===PreviousReview==> Great app, questions: But I've got a question. I noticed it had recorded a bunch of audio during my sleep session so I unlocked the premium features. Mostly it recorded my TV which was on in the background. Last night there were 707 recordings that lasted anywhere from 11 seconds to a minute and a half from the time that I lay down until the time that I woke up. Even though my iPhone 6S plus is 64GB, I'm kind of wondering where that audio data is stored, and if it can be deleted when it's no longer needed? Since I am a developer of sorts I was able to break into the app data area and look through the contents of the var/mobile/containers/data/application/pillow.app folder, but I could not find any stored audio data. Found a bunch of files with the extension .ODT, which appeared to be some kind of archive so I opened up a few of those and there happened to be a text file inside listing the audio events. But the question is how much impact on the app size footprint does storing the audio have? It appears to be a very low audio format, and I know some of the lowest audio codecs can store quite a bit of audio information with just a few megabytes. But still I would like to be able to delete unused audio after I have heard what it is. Also I had the heart rate monitor turned on, it transferred the audio data into my second iPhone but it did not transfer the heart rate data. Is there anyway to get the heart rate data to sync up between my two devices? One night I will use my 6S, the next night I might use my 6S plus. Also I am assuming that this app would work better if my iPhone were connected to some kind of health monitoring device and I notice a whole lot of connections for that that are unused because I don't have one yet. I look forward to being able to hook those up.
  • iPad issues

I have the app on both my iPad and iPhone. Today I did a sync (like I do every morning) but today on my iPad the app did not sync. Instead of showing last nights sleep analysis, it only had data from February 13-14. Today is February 23rd. My iPhone was correct. So I deleted the app on my iPad and reinstalled it. To my surprise, I get a message to purchase the premium edition for $4.99. I’m not doing that. I enjoyed using the app, however I’m not going to pay for a premium edition and not be guaranteed that it will work on both devices. I’ve emailed the developers about this issue so if and when they fix it I might then purchase the premium edition. Prior to today,I’ve been able to sync my watch on both devices but prefer the iPad because it’s easier to read (the iPhone words are too small).

  • Latest Watch app is broken

It’s never been a very reliable or accurate app (Watch or iPhone version), but the most recent update breaks the Watch app — I can’t end a sleep session. Force Touch does not work anymore. I’ll have uninstall the app just to get this app to end.
  • 5 stars for paid version

It seems like a lot of the reviews and the pictures are from the paid version. I really like the insight on last night’s sleep... and that is all I get. If I try to look at a previous night, “$4.99”. If I try to listen to a single audio “$4.99”. Not a bad app, there are just better free apps.
  • Inaccurate

The app after last update had a problem to sync, after a lot of restarts it was possible to put the app to work. The major problem now is the accuracy of the sleep, it is showing that you are sleeping, despite you are wake and walking. Looks like a lot of issue with algorithms. I reset the AI, but didn't help.

  • Good App - update messed up something

Updated the app yesterday. Recorded me awake for almost the entire night. Was very accurate previously. I use in conjunction with the Apple Watch Update - there was never a prompt given after waking up to determine if time awake was correct like your response states. Updating again today to new version
