  • Wow. This is what the future looks like...

    By CommissionerG
I didn’t appreciate what my Apple Watch was capable of until I started using Pillow. The data will help improve my life in ways that I could only dream of beforehand. I’m excited to see how I can improve my sleep to become the best me that I can be.

Manually have to pull in data
  • Faulty Sleep Tracker

    By Elizabeth2324
I follow all of the rules/ directions very carefully but every 4 days or so the app fails to record how many hours of sleep I got that night. I open the app to check and it says “insufficient data”. Additionally, it takes forever to load when you’re trying to check how many hours you got. Considering that this app costed $5 and is faulty I certainly would not recommend.
  • Good, not perfect

First off, let me say that the quality of the app has improved dramatically since I first used it (over a year ago). I have one major annoyance: the analytics are not very good. Hats off to the developed for providing some insight into patterns, but it needs to be rethought. Examples: 1. It would be awesome to show any potential correlation (regression analysis) between sleep quality and the notes. The notes are simply checkboxes so it’s not impossible to create the scatter plots. 2. The app obviously pulls some data from the Health App, but it’s selections are strange. Why can’t I view my sleep patterns against, say exercise minutes or days with workouts? 3. The secondary y axis has far to big of an interval spread - especially on the Sleep vs Weight chart. It’s impossible to draw any conclusions when the intervals are set at almost 35 labs instead of 2 or 3 lbs. 4. The app should help me better understand if I’m improving or getting worse. For example, the app tells me my ideal sleep time is sometime after midnight, yet I have only gone to bed that late twice in the last two months. Why isn’t that time changing? Also, it’s not clear to me if my sleep efficiency is improving or getting worse. Same with average hours slept per night. 5. Users should be able to flag anomalies / outliers. If I slept 9 hours one day - that’s not normal. Same if I only got 4.5 hours. I should be able to check a box that says “Ignore in trend analysis”. Developers: keep in mind please that the users of an app like this are doing it specifically because they want to know how well they are sleeping. The longer we track anything, the more questions arise. Adding these items to your roadmap would be helpful in making this a world class app. Bug notes: The audio doesn’t seem to work (device: iPhone Xs Max) even though the feature button is set to on. The calendar view isn’t picking up sleep recordings (the blue dot below each day) if you skip a day of opening the app. Are these days being counted in the analysis?
  • Not very accurate

This app is not very accurate. I've worn my fit fit simultaneously and it's significantly more accurate.

  • First night

    By MONTISIgirl
This was my first night on Pillow. Why did an alarm go off 2 hours into my sleep? I can’t see anywhere that set an alarm or how to make sure it doesn’t go off again. The notes were interesting but I wasn’t happy to get awakened... nor was my husband. How do I make sure an alarm won’t go off. Also 9am to 9 pm is excluded but sometimes I sleep past 9 am on purpose. I didn’t see where I could change that.
  • seriously I don’t know

    By mygodjackwhatudoing
I bought it and by tracking my sleep, it shows 40% deep sleep? Before I bought my I watch, I used fitsit for quite sometimes and my deep sleep always before 10-17% which according to study, that’s what a normal person would get no matter how good ur sleep is. Then I use my I watch and pillow apps, it shows 40%??? I m doubting, can anyone explain? I kinda want my money back
  • Need works

I am using Pillow since it was launched a years ago, but since the release of version 3.5 , the app have been facing problems, that get worse at each update. I hope they can start from scratch and go back as the best app to track sleep. They need at least fixes the 10 minutes intervals to calculate sleep, and fix the link with Health app, today it is writing 2 times the same data at the Health app.
