Learn Spanish, French, Italian, German, and many more languages with Babbel, the shortest path to real-life conversations in a new language. Developed by a team of language learning experts, Babbel has helped millions of people speak a new language with confidence. The Babbel Method Here’s what makes Babbel more effective than any other language learning app: 1. Confidence — Our goal is to get you speaking from your very first lesson. And our elegantly designed courses give you the confidence to get there. We teach you how to engage in practical, everyday conversations, making it easier for you to have authentic experiences in your new language. 2. Comprehension — Our lessons immerse you in relevant culture and real-life conversations. We want you to really take in the language, not just memorize useless phrases. And we provide helpful hints in English (or your native language) to make your new language more relatable. 3. Retention — We know you’re busy. That’s why our lessons are short but sweet: about 10-15 minutes, and designed to send your new language straight to long-term memory. We regularly refresh your memory with our dynamic review sessions, which target areas where you need improvement most. • Best lingo app of all time!

I should know, I’m using duo lingo, Rossetta Stone, and Learning language. This app does what those later three should do. I’m learning Italian at an accelerated rate.

Yes, Babbel does cost money. But it is so worth it! You can choose a variety of languages and in a few days you’ll learn all the basics! Now the “ hard “ part isn’t really hard. It’s really easy! 10 minutes a day in a year... you’ll be fluent with the language! This app is amazing and deserves the best❤️❤️❤️

I love babble. I use this every day to learn French and find the lessons easy to understand and work with. The only reason I docked one star for this app is because it doesn’t give the option to turn off the microphone for lessons when using the phone like it does on the computer. Sometimes I use this app at restaurants and cannot speak into my phone because of background noise. It should give the option to use with or without the microphone. Other than that, I love using babble.

I’ve loved Babbel ever since I saw how many freakin’ lessons they have! It really does a good job of teaching grammer, vocab and rules, plus some of the differences in Spanish in all the countries that speak it. My favorite feature would have to be simulated conversations. It gets you started listening to Spanish and is a GREAT way to practice the grammar you’ve learned. My only critiques would be that I wish there was a better re-cap at the end of each lesson in the Words and Sentences section, such as a simulated conversation that includes all the words/phrases that were covered. I also wish there was a better way to review past material, like better built in flash cards. I find myself using a separate flashcards app to do this. Also the Spanish it teaches in from Spain, and I wish when they taught vocab they’d include the words used in Latin America too. Still, Babbel is the best language learning app I’ve used so far (I like it way more than Doulingo) and I’d recommend it to anyone.
  • Jeg elsker deg, Babbel!

I love you, Babbel! I love how I can use my lap top or my iPad to check in with you every day, several times a day. I love how easy it is to review the vocabulary, or re-do a lesson as often as I feel I need to. I love the obviously native speakers pronouncing everything over and over again. I love how I am challenged to spell what I am learning. I love the grammar segment that pause to teach me syntax and letter sounds! How would I learn these sounds confidently from just a textbook? I have waited for Norwegian lessons through a program like this for years! Thank you, Babbel!
  • Well paced, self-explanatory

I’m liking Babbel so far quite well. I’m doing the Intermediate Review right now to brush up, and already found one of the units helped with a grammatical issue I knew was a weakness. Easy to repeat sections when I don’t feel secure enough. My only complaint is that the app’s voice recognition is not very good - I’m confident that my pronunciation is better than the lessons often seem to perceive. OTOH Alexa doesn’t always understand me either! 😝
