  • Switched from Evernote. Great for using multiple devices

I used Evernote for years, but after getting an iPad I was dissapointed in the lack of features. I switched to OneNote because it also provided great support over multiple devices, but it did so with great iPad support. I like the "canvas" format because it allows my thoughts to come out as they are. I especially like the ability to printout pdfs and edit them in place. This has been very useful for things like printing out lecture slides beforehand and making notes (pencil or otherwise) on them. Also, it is nice that Onenote plays nice with Word and other Office programs. Now, if only Microsoft could improve Outlook on Mac, I would be a total convert to the Office suite.
  • Great App - make it more like the other versions

OneNote is a great app, and use it every day across all my devices. That is why I would like it to be more like the experience on my other devices. Things like pulling data from Outlook are missing from this version.
  • My Travel Companion

I am so glad my son introduced me to this app. I first started with it on my trip to Sicily, using it like a journal. I have since added many recipes, exercises, craft ideas and books that I’ve read. There are many creative ways to use this app. I especially like that when I visit my family around the country I always have my favorite recipes with me on my iPad. The app is pretty easy to use - I’m 70 and have had no problem with it. I would highly recommend it.

I have had One Note for a while and played around wih it but since Evernote is having their troubles I figured I better gett off my lazy butt and learn One Note. Quite a little piece of work this is once you learn how (I am still learning). Highly recommend One Note to anyone who wants to keep notes. I had no idea that there was so much difference between using One Not in iOS and Windows but so far there is. Anyway, all in all a great program for helping organizeing ones life.
  • Great app but...

...what would make it perfect is the ability to focus and wrist protection at the bottom of the screen when handwriting.
  • Just like a notebooks

I've been using OneNote for 3 weeks now for an online class and it's working out great. It's almost like having an actual notebook to write in. I haven't run into any issues using it yet.
  • Mediocre

I have a Surface Pro and theres much more functionality on there. I need this because I am a Physics major. The functionality on here is half of (if that) what OneNote offers on my Surface. Please fix this. I often do live updates between writing notes and typing book notes and the lack of functionality on my Mac is limiting.
  • Good Functionality but could be better

Personally, I love my MAC. But there is a reason why people with MACs buy Microsoft software products (ie OneNote) because they are good and the interoperability. However, it seems as if the MAC’s version of Microsoft products are “watered-down” compared to the windows systems. I would rate this product higher if those capabilities, where instituted in the products; especially OneNote.
