I have intermittent issues with connecting to the internet and editing/moving pictures in my notes is impossible. You can't wrap the text around the pictures.

It works well, and you can do many things with it. I like being able to use many methods for initial entry of an item, and then being able to edit it in a varieth of ways. It is my go to note app.

Couldn't live without this app! It goes where I go an I can add to, create, and revise my lesson plans as needed, including pulling up documents and presentations from my computer to include with plan. Then, I show it at the beginnning of class on my SmartBoard and voila-students know exactly what to expect during each lesson!

I use this every day. I work in a heavily Microsoft focused business, but I work all on Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Macbook Pro, iMac). Everything syncs, including text, sketches, and hand-written notes in my OneNote; and now that the (fast path) Outlook for Mac includes integration with OneNote, even better. Only complaint: Synch servers for the MAC products are slow - can take hours (at times) to get everything sych'd. But not bad enough to keep me from using it!
  • Nearly a great app

Great note taking app. The notebook, subject/tabs are well implemented. Support for the Apple Pencil is among the best I've seen in a multi-function app, but it will start lagging on larger pages. And *PLEASE* give us an option to customize the color scheme of the app, or throw it into a general dark mode. No offense to those whose purple is their favorite color, but it harshly contrasts against my notes and isn't a favorable color scheme to me. Give us an option to choose a scheme. I know this is a 'free app' but I was personally paying yearly for the "Office 365" family plan where I can put it on 3 computers here... But I was only using Word, minor Excel sheets, and mostly used Onenote. My college courses give me access to Office 365 for me, as does my wife's classes gives her access. Looking at Evernote with their education discount

Great note-taking experience. The same interface, no matter what OS we are working Brilliant and seamless inclusion of multiformat inputs on one notebook and never have to switch multiple apps. I see the same on my phone, iPad, Mac, and PC. A handy tool and a must have for all professionals, who believe information is the key.
  • REALLY needs recent notes view

It's missing basic features like viewing all notes across sections by recent changes. Additionally, it's missing sort by recent changes within sections.
  • Good basic note-taking app for macOS

I had been using OneNote since 2003 and on Windows, it is the top note-taking app. The limitations for the Macintosh version is that you cannot see nor insert equations like the Windows version. Another limitation is the use only OneDrive or OneDrive for Business. I am glad that Microsoft is improving the software, but I need better options for note-taking that synchronize using iCloud Drive and the Apple Notes app fits the bill.
  • OneNote is a great note taker app

OneNote is a great note taker app that is simple to use, learn and share with others. It is fast and consistent. I do need to see a continue improvement of the app and new features, hopefully with less plug-ins, that take it to an elite app, like the ability to crop a photo.
