  • Gems

Could y’all make gems easier to get because some people can not buy stuff and you have to have like so much of the gems just to buy a restaurant.

  • Fun game, but exploitative

I really enjoy playing this game, but like so many other games on the App Store, it is nearly impossible to succeed unless you use your own money to buy upgrades. Unlocking new levels and tools that you need to beat current levels cost “diamonds,” which generate at a rate of about 1 per week, or you could buy them. At first, I kept winning lots of diamonds, but not that I’m further into the game they are much rarer and I’ve been stuck in the same place for so long. I will never spend my money on a game for my phone because it seems so wasteful, and it hits a nerve whenever games are designed in a way that you can’t progress through the levels without spending money. Great game, but I can’t support an app that try’s to coerce people into giving them money.

Will soon delete cause unless you plan to buy gems don’t bother with this game. After the first couple of levels gets very stingy with gems, you average a few a week IF you remember to login everyday. Meanwhile you require gems for absolutely everything, upgrades, new restaurants, specialty items in the restaurants that have to be constantly refilled. New restaurants cost like 30 gems meanwhile there’s hundreds of thousands of coins that you get easily that you’ll never use. The slot machine will let you win coins but again, hardly ever gems. PLUS, you have to slide items around instead of being able to tap the item and then tap where you want it to go which takes longer to get to customers and also contributes to hand cramping. No thanks. Games like this need to study Diner Dash and Gordon Ramsey’s Restaurant Dash to see how the perfect time management games SHOULD go. Two stars, only cause it does have some decent looking restaurants of the ones I’ve opened.
