App Reviews

  • Fix not Fixed

Just downloaded the recent update which says it “fixed” a lot of things but now I can’t open up my favorites tab without it crashing and everything takes a while to load. TrueFire please fix it!
  • Poor user experience

The app seems unstable. There are many instances where there is no visual feedback to indicate whether a requested action has been taken or is in progress. Downloading the lessons for offline viewing takes forever when it works, which it often does not. Lesson playback is often erratic, or halts for no reason. The Soundslice "feature" had to be turned off. I wonder what kind of testing was done on this app before releasing it?

I like using the TrueFire app on my large IPad Pro hooked up to a set of speakers while playing along with lessons on my guitar through my amp. The latest upgrade with the music scrolling underneath the video is nice for playing along too. I mostly pick up jazz, rockabilly, Western swing, blues, and r and b style lesson videos, no duds yet. I’ve enjoyed each one I’ve worked with.
