Go Math! Daily Grade 2 App Screenshots
App doesn't work
I bought this app to use in my classroom, but it fails to show that it has been purchased.
I purchased this app and planned on using it with my students. Cannot add students, and often it is non-responsive. I contacted their support several times and received lame canned responses that were not at all helpful. Don't bother to buy this app until they make some BIG improvements!
I also contacted their “Customer Service” and got NO WHERE. They responded with irrelevant questions and were no help at all…
Don’t bother buying the in-app purchase as you will NOT be able to enter student names!
Does nothing to help students understand concepts
I was hoping this app would have hands on activities where students could use "on screen" manipulatives to enrich their understanding of math concepts. Instead, it is really just a series of multiple choice questions on various math concepts. However, it is nice that it grades them for you, and shows the concepts that a student might be struggling with. Sadly though, it often grades them incorrectly!! The last problem on the ch 2 section 8 quiz is just one of many errors. I wish there was more to the app that would help children learn and explore.
Too many wrong answers
As the other reviewer noted, there are simply too many wrong answers. Clearly no one bothered to check the answers before releasing this. Hope they correct the mistakes and release update with corrected answers soon.
There are several questions (especially in chapters 8-11) that have incorrect answers as correct ones. For instance, a question in chapter 11 asks students to find another way to make halves. Well, when you click on the correct answer, it says that it is wrong and that the shape that is split into thirds is the correct answer. Another example is from chapter 9 where an object measures 13 cm, but when the correct answer of 13cm is clicked, it says that it is wrong and that 9cm is correct. I am very disappointed in the amount of mistakes that are on this app (as well as the text books and tests that we use in the classroom). Please fix, as I really like the Go Math series, but may need to change my opinion due to all of the writer/publisher mistakes.
