  • Not too accurate

Decided to download and try it out. I own 250 acres where I live. The property are way off. Not sure if this is a random thing or if it’s common. My opinion is it’s not accurate.

Love the app and the sharability. Been using the app here in the Willamette valley of Oregon and feel that the area needs some work. Shared with friends and will continue to use it.
  • Layers don’t work off grid

Downloaded layers for public and private and high res blocks for various units I was hunting this fall. Had no issues during weekend scout trips but went in to hunt and suddenly they quit working. Really sucked because it was a lot of private in the public area I was hunting and I was relying on this app to do what they advertised and they did not. Think I will try the other company next year or just do it the old fashioned way with a pencil and a topo map smh
  • Game-Changer

When I started using a smartphone, I always said it’ll be great if someday my GPS could be a part of it... many apps have come along, but all have come up short Until onXhunt! I downloaded the app in September 2018… In October we took a great elk and mule deer on a traveling hunt to unknown units in Utah. OnXhunt was spot on. It is essential in navigating the maze of public and private lands and the off grid feature is most useful. It’s saved us time money and helped put us on animals. At home in Alaska, as my son has said, it is a “Game-Changer”... it is opening up many new spots in areas we have hunted our whole lives… Being able to pre-plan and in field navigate has made for many successful hunts. We have also used it to navigate in cities we have traveled to. Keep up the great work onX team.

These guys make the best hunt maps out there and they are only getting better. I just marked my property boundary using the app and found a new piece of town land I can hunt right next to my house that I had no idea was there.
  • A hunting “must have”

I purchased this app for a hunting trip to Wyoming. Lots of private land in our area we drew antelope tags. The app helped us tremendously. We would never have known where we could or couldn’t hunt without it. I could not imagine having done that trip without it. I used it on another bow hunting trip to Wisconsin with the same results. It kept us on the right property. I also used it back home for deer season. I found more property boundaries I thought I knew but really didn’t. If you hunt by any private land, you “must have” this app. Being able to download maps and have them ready when there is no internet service was also a huge asset. Thank you OnX team!!!!

A very easy to use app that allows you to scout, hunt and plot areas to hunt.
  • Last day bull

I've passed a certain chunk of property for 30 years thinking it was private. After seeing elk on it one day, I checked my onx maps. Come to find out, someone put "no trespassing" signs on PUBLIC land. With no luck in other areas, I went up this specific piece of PUBLIC LAND and shot my bull on the last day of the hunt. I've also used it to retrace my steps after dropping or setting things down. So far I have recovered a $400 jacket and $700 range finder. Well worth the $30 a year.
