This was a great app until they decided to pull this bs update. If you’re trying to figure out what’s happening like I was? Just save yourself the time, delete this app, and find another tuner.

...a update made you unable to use the free version without doing a trial for an upgrade I can’t access the app anymore. Very frustrating and just gonna have to get a new tuning app.

7.99 weekly renewal? Seriously? You guys threw your business model out of the window.

The interface is not immediately helpful. But the app is so well-designed that it only took me about 30 seconds to figure out how to tune my ukulele. I’m sure it’s going to come in very handy in the future. Keep in mind that you will have to tune your guitar in a relatively quiet environment. But it appears to be very accurate.

I have been using this tuner for over a year and just opened it up to tune an instrument and it won’t let me unless I subscribe now for 8 dollars a week! Outrageous and unnecessary! Deleted and will find something better.

I had this app for about a year, and have really enjoyed using it to keep my uke, guitar, and harp in tip-top shape...until now. All of a sudden, it makes me subscribe to continue using it for nearly $8 per week. Not month, but week. And shame on iTunes for not making that clear to future users—they make it seem like it’s still free, and not a pricey weekly subscription. I understand that the companies and developers that create these apps need to get some financial reimbursement for the services they provide, but to pull the wool over the users eyes like this is ridiculous.

It was great. I open the app today and now I can’t get past the screen requiring me to sign up for their free TRIAL subscription! It’s now deleted and I downloaded a different free one.

Who pays that? I could get a clip on tuner that works better and lasts for years for the same price. This was a really handy app when it was free but it’s not worth a subscription to use even basic features. Very disappointed by this sudden change.
