  • Disappointing App

    By DereckJonesNYC2
There are videos of exercises but no detailed instructions and no obvious process or explanation of how to use the App. “Support” seems to be unhelpful canned responses to questions I have emailed. A waste of money in my opinion
  • Surprise charges, bad customer care, and no refunds

    By TheFlyingM
They charged my girlfriend $35, without prior warning, and were not willing to refund. She’s between jobs and now her bank account is empty. I was a huge fan of Freeletics, but after this there’s no way I’ll be using their apps anymore or recommending them to my friends. After a 1 month trial there was (a) no notification that an automatic 3-month subscription would be charged and (b) no opt-in to continue the subscription. Additionally they were not even listed as an active subscription on her Apple account, yet they still charged the $35 to my girlfriend, leaving her with no money to support herself for the week. All of that would even be fine even if they just refunded the subscription, but they refused. Just goes to show the people behind Free-letics don’t believe in anything “Free” about it.
  • Free App, NOT Free to Use!

    By anthro_chick
It gives you ONE workout for free, then you have to pay. Month-to-month is not and option on here — only 3, 6, or 12. Deleted it right away. 👎🏽
  • Definitely not free

Checked my bank account I guess I paid for this even though it said it was free 😪
  • Well worth the money, no matter which plan you pick

I am prior military, a current cop, and a former certified Crossfit trainer with three years experience training clients at a Crossfit box. Frequent work travel, coupled with an inability to access key pieces of workout equipment have derailed many programs I have tried over the last several years. Couple this with two new kids, some nagging overuse injuries, and the usual stresses of life and the me I see in the mirror in my mid thirties is markedly different from the me I saw staring back just five years ago, not to mention much slower and weaker. I decided to try a simpler, more minimalist approach to fitness that I could take with me literally anywhere, and started looking at fitness apps for my phone. I was looking for a Bodyweight or KB program when I ran across a review of the Freeletics app. Freeletics is relatively popular in Europe, but hasn’t made a huge splash here in the US yet. I decided to give this app a shot, and so far I am very impressed. The workouts and programming are tailored to your schedule, what little space or equipment you have access to (I.e. a pull-up bar, and floor space), and your own abilities. The program also adapts itself to how you are progressing as you proceed through it. For instance, my first week was relatively easy, and I breezed through even the metcon drills... so I made sure to say as much in the little questionnaires which you are asked at the end of each session. The second week: way more challenging! Much more volume, more intense circuits, and harder skills to master with the “drills” sessions at the beginning of your workout. The app itself is relatively easy to learn to utilize, and has lots of helpful videos to demonstrate any movements or skill sets you aren’t familiar with. You can also access soundtracks, nutrition content, and blog articles. All in all, for a couple bucks a week, I give this app a solid 5 Star rating after my first couple weeks.
  • Great app but I guess can do better?

I love this app, really. But minor suggestion, can the devs enable a landscape mode for ipad users? Or am I just missing something? Either way, keep up the good work!

In May 2018, I will have had this app for a subscribed year. In that year I have done the same exercises over and over and over again. I even reset the app twice and still all I've done are squats, lunges, sprawls, push ups and crunches. There are so many other exercises I see in the app that I want to do but the “Coach” rarely brings in anything new. If I do get a new exercise like “superman” i get to do it once every few months. I complained to Freeletics over a month ago and they said they would help but nothing happened. I like the interface of this app but everything else is just repetitive and it’s not worth another year long subscription. The company has responded saying they help and have another look into my training plan. As noted above you had that chance a month ago and no one helped me and NOTHING changed.

I really love this app. It's convenient and you can take it anywhere.
  • In app subscription prices are a lie

    By nic0minaj
So I downloaded the app after seeing an ad to help me with my fitness and overall physical health and when I got to the part for the subscription the prices were not as they were meant to be. I clicked the 12 month one because it said it was about $2 and some change but then I got an email saying I’ve been charged $114.99. I’m looking up ways to get a refund from them but I’m very upset that they would just lie about the prices instead of just putting the full amount. Im sure this app is great but I’m never going to use this again :/
  • Love this app!
