  • Apple Watch

    I love the workouts and I enjoy listening to Ronny the trainer. When I use my phone to workout, it’s awesome! However, I have an Apple Watch and I love tracking my heart rate during runs. In order to do that, I have to run the app from my watch. When doing that, my watch and phone don’t communicate during the workout and I only hear Ronny the trainer at the beginning, end and when to walk, run or sprint. I don’t hear his funny little motivators. This would be a 5 star app if they could get the Apple Watch app and the phone app to work at the same time and communicate better.

    Great running app. My advice is to turn off the “audio feedback” in settings. If the voices ever have to “talk over” each other during a run you have to pause and restart to get them back.

    I like to stop and start but the work out ends after the normal session and if you keep going it does not keep calculating for you it just turns off I don’t like that part

    I’ve used the Running app for a couple years for training for races as well as holding myself accountable for staying in shape and maintaining healthy dietary habits—such as drinking enough water and planning healthy and satisfying meals. I have been able to lose an appropriate amount of weight for my age and height, stay in shape, and improve my endurance for distance running. I am really happy with this app and tell people about it whenever I can!
  • Why?

    So I been using this app for about a month. I usually start the app from my phone. Today I did not use my phone but my new Apple Watch instead. It worked fine, but it erased all my data information, my workouts, calories burned etc. from my phone and started me at week one number one again 🤦🏽‍♀️ I had reached workout 13. I tried to retrieve that data from my phone but it is no longer there. My question is why did that happen? If my watch is synced to my phone then using it on my phone or Apple Watch should be the same. I just lost all my drive to run now because this app encouraged me, now it’s hard to start from the beginning again.
