  • Good stuff but WAY TOO MUCH READING

    By Mrschoff
I like the huge food database that makes it really easy to track your calorie intake and that you can control the size of the portion. I also like how it connects with Apple HealthKit to track steps and that you can add from a long list of additional activities. However, the volume of reading is ridiculous. WAY too much reading every single day! Would also be nice to have a line graph for steps and calories with a goal line as well. Would be easier to spot trends with a line graph. Great way to help a person track what they eat which we all know is a huge part of losing weight. I’m down over 10lbs since I started using it.
  • Nope

Sorry. I’ve had it two days and I’m over it. Thank god I had a free trial! I am unable to add any new foods at all, the barcode database must be for like 2 foods because nothing I have scanned can be found and my coach has failed to respond to any question I have asked so I’m done. To answer your ad question, people use weight watchers because it works, their app is reliable and the database actually has info in it!
  • Finished week 1 and I’m down 8 lbs.!

I’m super happy with my results so far and I would definitely recommend this program to others. It’s clear and easy to follow, and the readings are blended with humor, which helps lighten things up. I’m getting help while learning a far so good!

I’ve been on the app for two months, and so far Noom is really disappointing. My ultimate #1 gripe is NO WEB CAPABILITY. I’m not asking for a new social media platform, I just want to be able to search foods and create dishes without typing on my phone. I’m definitely going back to MFP, but sadly I paid for several months of Noom which I feel like I have to use now... My group has never had a post, so I’m not sure what the point of it is. My coach sends the same three statements - “Hows it going?” “Is that something you’d like to work on this week?” “How confident are you in this?” - literally every single time. I could probably tell her I was going to go rob a bank and she’d ask me how confident I am in that. The interface is generally slick looking but has some really strange quirks that are, in my opinion, unacceptable for a paid app. I also sometimes find myself on screens where there is no “back” button and I have to force quit the app to get back to the home page. Insane. And as others have pointed out, the quality of content takes a nose dive after a few months. I just scrolled back a month and a half to be sure I hadn’t imagined it. They start using stock photos and bland paragraphs, sometimes with a reference to a study thrown in. Honestly it’s altogether a poorly written app and a subpar experience. I really wish I could get a refund. Kudos to the marketing team who have managed to sell this to so many people...
  • Step calculator

By I'm obsessed with bands ❤
I would like it if Noom synced with my FitBit. I wear one to track my steps. It’s hard to keep a phone on me at all times.
  • Facebook login

    By Zodiasma
I just got this was super excited and it’s day 0 and it won’t login with Facebook I can’t find a contact number for help there are no big report button to report and there is no override to sign in a different way.... frustrated
  • The best way to lose weight

    By Grandma AE
Accountability has always helped me on my weight loss journey in the past and weight watchers was my ‘go to” program. Journaling your food is the secret to reaching your goal. Noom holds me accountable and so much more.
  • I'm not paying again

    By HypnotiKryp2nite
I paid the one time fee years ago and now you have to pay again for a coach I already paid for!
