    is good
  • Decent patch

Game has a ton of balancing issues. Patch seems to have addressed a couple. Overall a fun game though.
  • Hearthstone Issue

    By Arena Disconnect
Recently while playing hearthstone arena, I've encountered repeated disconnects spiraling my win record down and causing me to receive my arena key very early. I hope Hearthstone is soon able to fix their arena servers so others aren't encountering the same frustration as I have.
  • Good game but technical problems

It would get a 5 star but it crashes on me mid-game a lot and it's incredibly frustrating so 4 stars.
  • Beginner cards getting NERF

    By Dannylikehats
Good beginner cards (free cards) that are part of the identity of different classes are getting nerfs. Now, this cards helps new player compete against stronger players, the problem is that they are being removed due to how they work with new implemented cards which we have to pay for to get. The reward system is lacking, due too so many packs being added during the year we find ourselves forced to pay a lot more. Summary: Game is getting very expensive for new and older players.
  • Do not play this game unless you're masochistic

    By Robotic Clown
I used to enjoy this game, but as time went on it became obvious that the team in charge of this game doesn't care about their community like other blizzard dev teams usually do. They clearly want to milk as much money as they can with this game, not fixing some of the most frustrating problems in both gameplay and features while making millions of dollars in revenue each month. I've been playing since the first expansion came out, and ever since then it has been clear that the dev team refuses to acknowledge mistakes and has a very narrow vision of what "fun" is supposed to be. By adding to many random elements and making too many overpowered and cheap cards, hearthstone has become a disgusting cesspool of aggro and rush decks, allowing little room for experimentation. The game stagnates between expansions as players leave to play better-maintained games such as MTG. Unless hearthstone's team listens to their community and tones back the toxic elements, I'll be leaving my review at a single star(which is very generous). When RNG outweighs skill, you're game doesn't deserve to be an esport.
  • Frustrating

    By lolwhut
I wasted so much time playing this. I don't recommend this game at all. I regret the time and money I spent on hearthstone. I just want to hit legend and be over with it yet the climb to legend is pretty much a grind. RNG takes a big aspect of this game as there is no player interaction like magic the gathering. I wanted a mtg substitute which is why I ended up playing this game. Currently climbing between rank 1 and 2 almost there but this back and forth experience due to RNG is a complete waste of time. I just want to be done with this game already.
  • Extremely expensive for new players

    By Foxtrotlag
The game is getting more and more expensive to play. The devs don't make timely changes to improve the health of the game. New players literally don't stand a chance. You need to spend well over 200$ per expansion just to have a handful of decent cards, especially if you're just starting, and with 3 expansions a year now you're looking at a lot of cash for a digital card game. I've played since beta and am still Free to Play, I've made it to rank 1, but I can barely scrape a few good decks together at this point because of the way the cards are being designed. If you're thinking about starting, turn back now - there are many other digital card games that are better supported and reward the players much more. Don't reward Blizzard's greed by playing this game.
  • Pay to win vs Free to play

    By TheGoobeer
I've been playing hearthstone since release at one point I believed it was pay to win. Pay to get packs get better cards win more games right? Wrong it's pay for convenience the only reason people believe it is a pay to win is because they don't understand the game or play a deck diverse enough to deal with different scenarios, Ex: taunts, deathrattles, weapons, etc etc. you can have completely basic cards and some commons and beat someone that has tons of legendaries or epics or w.e in their deck this is a strategy card game it takes time to understand it fully and think what your opponents next move could be and that's why it gets a bad reputation. The people that complain and cry pay to win are the same people loading up a full board on turn 6 just to get flamestriked their opponents next turn. The only downside to this game is that there's is Rng factors but not only does it work against you but it works for you from time to time even know you feel like it doesn't. Relax, enjoy, and learn then you will love this game I promise.
