Simple and customizable, Fitness Intervals was designed for fitness athletes by fitness athletes with a timing and scoring system tailored for CrossFit, HIIT (high intensity interval training), AMRAP (as many rounds as possible), EMOM (every minute on the minute), Tabata intervals, circuit training, bootcamp and tempo workouts. Your high intensity and interval training requires a specific set of timing and scoring tools. We've focused on the most important tools so that you can spend less time setting up and more time working out. Fitness Intervals is a universal app that works in both device orientations with big numbers for great readability indoors, outdoors and on video. • Apple Watch remote control. • Stopwatch - counts up from 0:00. • Timer - counts down from a time you set. • Tabata - 8 rounds of :20 work/:10 rest for up to 8 exercises. • Custom - you set the work/rest periods & number of rounds. • Round/Rep Counter - swipe to count rounds or reps. • Splits - time report for completed rounds or reps.     An apple watch interval timer should be useful without the phone. The app is really useless if you plan to use the watch. Really overpriced for its functionality
  • Great if you don’t like to fuss with Settings

    My husband teases me because I’m not very patient with apps, so this one is perfect for me. I can start my workout almost instantly without a bunch of settings or configuration. I like to do Tabata intervals and it is super easy. I just set the number of exercises and then don’t have to think about anything but surviving my workout.
  • Does not work as a stand alone app on watch

    From what I can tell from testing this app out, it is very frustrating that I have to have the app open (and in range) on my phone did the watch app to work. All I want to do is count reps or rounds because I easily lose track at the gym. I want to use my watch by itself to count rounds/reps but it won't work. Please update this app so I can tap the watch screen for every reps/round without having to fumble around with my phone.

  • Good, but touchy

    So I got this to do custom interval training. The setup is very easy which I liked. But somehow it resets. Maybe they should move the reset button from the corner so it's not too easy to hit by mistake. I've been very careful not to touch the screen, so you developers, please check this out! Update: I got a more intricate app later to tailor to specific HIIT routines, but I still use this for my more basic needs, when I don't have to actually carry my phone in my hand. And, another request: I'd like the ability to save my custom timers. Then I probably wouldn't need the second app that I got. Overall though I'm glad I got this.

    The app looks amazing, circle counting its simple and perfect, but it lacks some features: -Elapsed time and remaining time when doing a custom workout -Native HIIT support should be a must -The ability to skip work circles Everything else it's just perfect. It's a must have app

    I've heard from many friends that this app is great for their crossfit or other interval training. I'm using the app for a quick travel WOD while away from home for work. It's exactly what I need. Go!
  • I like it, but...

    It needs to be able to turn down the volume on music players or use a louder notification sound. I can't hear the alarm with anything playing.
