  • Yahoo Mail App scam

    By Porschelaborguy
Yes I am being charged monthly from either Yahoo mail add free service or I tunes and still get adds when I open my account. So for me is a scam between the parts one contacts Yahoo! And they refer you to I tunes and whet one contact customer service they refer you to the app developer and when one gets to app developer you only get to choose everything but customer service a very clever trick to keep you bouncing like a ping pong ball

I don't know what you changed, but I can't get in to my email accounts now. Every time I open the app on any device I have to log in again. Even if I go out of the app for a few seconds to another app and then come back I have to log in again. One of my email accounts I can't even access. My password, which I know is correct, doesn't work, and then when I try to change the password, I still can't access the account. Why did you have to change what once was a great app? I would give you negative stars if I could.

I’m never using your services again! I got a new phone with a new number and my old phone’s number was deactivated at the same time my new one was activated so I have no way to receive a code to log in on my new phone. And when I email your support team your answer is “tough we don’t know enough about you to let you in, make a new email”. EXCUSE ME? Knowing my password isn’t good enough for you? I use that email address for EVERYTHING! Bull. Have a nice life, I’ll be using Gmail from now on!

Update Dec 2018–just updated iOs. Now mail won’t open at all. Never could send photos or articles directly from my iPad. Useless app. I got this app because my Yahoo mail accounts don’t work right with my new ipad’s mail app. I can’t just select a photo or website and email it. Yahoo just won’t do it. Gmail works fine. So, Using the new Yahoo mail app, I still can’t select items and email them, but I can open an email in the app and insert items. However, I can never open the top item in my inbox. It just sticks. I can tap on it, press it, etc. until the cows come home, and that first email won’t open. Recently, random other incoming emails refuse to open. This is a real pain in the butt. I have Yahoo premium mail, too. I hate Yahoo but continue to use them rather than drop an email address I have had for decades. ****** I just spent 2 or 3 minutes (not seconds—actual minutes) thumping away on the top email in my inbox before it finally opened. No change in the attaching of articles and photos either. Just took off a star. ********** One month later, same problems persist. Now, I have to send mail through the Apple mail app. Yahoo Mail is putting everything in my outbox and leaving it there. Can I remove my one star?
  • Spam Infested

40% of the email I received from Yahoo is Spam emails from India, and no matter how many times I place those emails in my spam box, they just keep on coming. So Yahoo what are you doing about this?
