    We live 15 min from the airport , 3 different drivers cancelled after they asked me where I was going because they don’t want to do short rides. It took us 45 to get a driver willing to take us home.

    The app is great, however as it does not allow for the deletion of a stored payment method, making it impossible for a user to better secure their Lyft account, a two-star rating is very generous!!!!

  • Navigation has issues

    I was almost late to work today because my driver was being navigated to go through a gated neighborhood that I was not in to pick me up. The navigation should take into account the inability to access certain streets or neighborhoods. I have never had this issue with Uber. If this happens again I will probably go back to riding with Uber. If Lyft cannot accurately navigate my driver to pick me up, how can I trust it to accurately navigate my destination?

    This past weekend was the worst experience with Lyft and because of it I will never use their service again. I’ve been using Lyft for sometime now and have never had issues I am not sure what it was about this weekend that made it so horrible. First off the only rides we were able to request were shared rides for whatever reason I am not a fan of that at all and I wouldn't voluntarily request a shared ride to save a couple of dollars, I will pay what I need to for convenience, piece of mind and running on my own time. Our first driver upon picking us up was not friendly or personable whatsoever actually he was rude he did not say hello didn’t engage in the conversations we were trying to have with him nothing, then since it was a shared ride he drove down the street to pick up the additional passengers upon arriving me and my fiancé instantly felt uncomfortable and unsafe due to the appearance and demeanors of the additional passengers the driver did as well and he had a confused scared look on his face which didn’t make us feel any better but instead of using judgment which they have the right to he did not. They had a huge black trash bag that they brought with them and at that point we got out of the car and I cancelled the ride on my end, after we got out my fiancé requested an Uber and I called the Lyft driver to see what I could do because I did not want to get charged for a ride we did not take and also I couldn’t request another ride because it was still in process his response was “there’s nothing I can do” and he hung up on me. After a while the ride was completed and I was charged the whole ride. Our second and third Lyft request and incident was back to back, I pinned my location for pickup and neither one of the drivers could find us I talked to bother drivers on the phone to guide them since they couldn’t find us for some reason and even with my help and guiding them they couldn’t find us but when they did they drove right past us and cancelled the rides, so once again I was charged cancellation fees. I am not sure what’s going on with Lyft or their drivers but that’s it for me.
