The Simpsons™: Tapped Out App Details

THIS GAME IS LIFE-RUININGLY FUN! From the writers of The Simpsons, comes the city building game that lets you create your own living, breathing Springfield! When Homer accidently causes a meltdown that wipes out Springfield, it’s up to you to clean up his mess… we mean, help him rebuild it! Collect Your Favorite Characters Help reunite Homer with his loved ones - Marge, Lisa, Maggie (and even sometimes Bart) – as well as his not so loved ones, like Ned Flanders. Re-populate Springfield with your favorite characters, from Barflies (Barney Gumble) to Wise Guys (Fat Tony). Add them all, we won’t judge! Dress your characters to the nines with options like Daredevil Bart or Lizard Queen Lisa, and relive scenes from your favorite episodes of The Simpsons! Take Charge of Your Springfield Can’t control your own life? Now you can control the lives of the citizens of Springfield instead! Make Apu work ridiculously long shifts at the Kwik-E-Mart, have Moe smuggle illegal animals, or make Homer toil poolside all day… that last one might not be so bad. Build Your Own Springfield Think Homer deserves to live next door to Moe’s? Or the monorail can survive a few more sharp twists and turns? Or 40% fewer health inspectors? Well you can finally make Springfield just the way you want it! Expand your town to the Waterfront, grow its businesses with the glamourous shops of Springfield Heights, and enjoy its sights, all with only a few taps. Experience Unique Simpsons Stories Catch exclusive animated scenes and new hilarious stories from the writers of The Simpsons. You know they’re good because they write for The Simpsons! Tapped Out is the most life-ruiningly fun Simpsons game you can play! Always Something New for Your Favorite Town Springfield might perpetually be on the verge of destruction, buy hey, at least it’s never boring. Whether it’s Halloween monster invasions, superheroes run amok, or chaos caused by one of Homer’s “great” ideas, you’ve got never-ending options to tap! I first got this game in 2012 and I loved it. It brings back so many memories.

Update: still love this game, however the inability to buy land with gold is incredibly frustrating. Only being able to get land via land tokens in events is a frustrating way to throttle the gameplay. I get my town how I like it, then new stuff comes out with the event and inevitably I have to do massive rearranging and store something away just to have the new items Needed for the event out. And without land to buy there’s nothing to spend your gold on and then there’s really no point to sending characters out on none event quests. Part of the game just died off and now the only thing to do is events. Just frustrating..... The quests are fun, the characters are hilarious, rebuilding the town is so neat. Very user friendly! The events they do are a blast (Halloween is the best)! Since this game is so fun I don't mind spending the occasional dollars to buy the premium currency! Best mobile game ever!!!

I’ve been playing this game for years...and spent way too much physical money on it at that. Regardless, being as cash is being spent on the game, you’d think you could keep what you’ve either earned or purchased yet I’ve ran into multiple instances where items that have been purchased or earned through the game in the past, have been brought back to purchase for donuts in newer updates to the game....??? Confusing considering the game has a bank for you to put your unused items to begin with...kind of regretting I let myself get tied up in the game to start many, many years ago.

I am obsessed with this game but something weird is going on. Every time I get on there is a 914.5 MB update every time I try to get on. It works fine after but the update thing is bugging me.

Very fun, I just wish they didn’t encourage people to spend real money in order to advance. Takes forever if you don’t pay to play.

I wish there was new sorting options. I demolished my whole town with hopes of redecorating it because it was a mess before; I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. So many items, in alphabetical order and doesn’t stay where I left off. Some items aren’t categorized into the sections in unpacking mode so I have to go into the ‘all’ tab essentially and takes ages to just find the parking space. I wish items were grouped by event, function, name, theme, style, color, holiday.. the list could go on and on. Also, why are there completely different groups in buy mode and unpacking mode? I can’t find anything!!!! It’s impossible Also Please make some default decor items in a set I can place that will use items that are in my inventory and I can just place them. Maybe include event items set up
