Singletracks Topo App Details

The Singletracks app gives you access to thousands of mountain bike trails, gear reviews, maps, articles, and photos on the go. - Find the closest mountain bike trails to your current location. - Read trail reviews, view photos, and even follow topo maps of select trails. - Add trail reviews and photos directly from the app. Check in and update trail status. - Get turn-by-turn directions to trailheads from your location or any address. - Keep track of your trail and gear lists and wishlists. - Find nearby bike shops and read reviews. Add shop reviews and photos from the app. - View and comment on the photo of the day. - Optimized for fast data downloads in the field. Looks great on the iPad too. New trails, photos, and reviews are constantly updated so you'll always have the latest info. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

  • Desperate for an update

The UI is out of date and a bit clunky. The map data is ancient (and out of date), and the trail maps are extremely difficult to read. The only thing that sets this app above others is that it has more trails than all the other trail apps do (which has nothing to do with the app itself, just that has a large set of data to use). I just don’t know if I can trust that the trail data is up to date.
  • Don't do it

This upgradde is a total waste of your hard earned money. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought it. They're spot on. I wanted it for the trail maps and what a joke. All they are is someone's nasty GPS tracks. Inacurate and impossible to use. Get the MTB Project app instead. It's lightyears ahead and it's FREE. I can't believe Singletracks attached their name to this garbage. I, too, want my money back!
  • Just don’t, I want my money back

The lite version is all one needs, it give the lists, you can download the locations, has directions to get there. I was hoping the paid for app would have maps, but the maps are rubbish, other users have stated a map app has more functions, this is true, google maps would serve you better. Terribly disappointed in my waste of money, and wish for my money back.
  • What a waste of money.

Google maps provides more info and the 'topo' view doesn't help indicate the kind of ride you have ahead. Really disappointed that single track would put their name on this. I had higher expectations of them
  • Lame.

Needs a TON of work. I wasted $4. Don't make my mistake. Check out MTB Project App. Waaaaaay better and it's free. This app is confusing as hell to use and is extremely inaccurate. Should be no stars.
  • Fun App works well

New to the app but it works good and adds fun to cycling. Note: When upgrading from the free version to the paid app be sure to open the newly installed app to gain access the Topo maps. Cheers!
  • Where's the topo?

I just downloaded this app yesterday. It was working fine. I was able to view most of the maps. Today, however, the maps disappeared. $3.99 seemed high for this type of an app, but I bought it anyway because of the trail maps. The trail maps are very handy in planning where to go next. The value to me is in the trail maps. Without them, it's just a piece of crap of an app. I am being generous for giving it one star. Fix it!
  • Needs a distance tracker.

This app is $3.99, for what? Just for the articles and reviews? I paid for it thinking it would come with a mileage tracker.

  • this app saved me... thanks!

we've all done it… gotten a little confused and lost in the trials. This app totally saved me during my last mountain biking trip as it enabled me to find my way back to the trailhead. It's a huge comfort knowing I've got this app in my pocket. Thank you!
