    This piece of crap app jams every other time and has to be reloaded and I have to sign in each time. Hard to believe this from Rhode Island’s top newspaper which seems to be headed down every time I think about it. Why don’t you just shut the paper down now and let some other company run a state newspaper because you’ve already failed.
  • Not updating to latest issue

    I start my morning reading the ProJo on this app. Since I got a new iPad for Christmas, the new edition of the paper does not load for me automatically. The only way for me to load the next days paper is to delete and re install the app. Anyone else having the same issue? Very frustrating.
  • Upgrade has some issues

    I agree with the reviewer that said the upgrade has some issues. But I don’t agree that everything is horrible and “somebody should be fired.” Nonetheless, small like when you tap to go to the next page to follow a story, it SHOULD take you right the story, and not just anywhere on the new page (like the other reviewer said, AND like it used to do). This upgrade made some changes - and change is always hard - that I don’t necessarily like, but I’m sure others do. Nonetheless, it broke a lot of little things, like the one stated above, that really impact the quality and seamlessness of the user’s experience.
  • Does not load to current issue when opening app

    This needs to be fixed!!! In order to get the current issue, most often you have to delete the app, go to App Store and re-install it, then log back in - hoping you remember and type in your username and password correctly. Takes too long! Old version of app would automatically open up to the current issue.
  • Fix the app! Upgrade is awful

    I have been wanting to write a review since the upgrade. I read the Projo eEdition every morning, my only regret was upgrading the app. Upgrades usually fix problems and make things better. Someone should be fired for this. I don't even know where to begin to criticize, there are so many things wrong with it. From the movement around the pages, double tapping, page jumping, the list would just go on and on. When you tap to continue a story on another page, it would be nice to land on the story and not have to go find it. Unless we want to go and buy your paper version, I guess we're stuck with it. I'm a Journal advertiser and have been for 30 years, please use some of my ad money to hire someone that knows how to build a newspaper app!
  • Projo e edition app upgrade a failure

    The previous version of their app was great. Easy to use and navigate and most importantly would automatically update to the latest edition when the app was opened. I cannot figure out how to get the latest edition with the current version so have to delete and reinstall it every time I want the current edition. Newspapers are struggling as it is. This can only contribute to their continued decline.
  • What Happened?

    Bought a digital subscription for my 80yr old dad last year. He loved the app and the ease of reading and downloading for offline reading. Now, we can't figure out how to get the latest issue (where it would previously appear automatically) and downloading is now 3 steps vs 1 with hard to read drop down menus. Technology is supposed to make life easier. This new version fails in that regard.
  • New format.

    I find the new E edition cumbersome and difficult to read. The white background seems to take up more room than the paper. The old format was not perfect but this is definitely a step backward. Frank Duvally
  • Recent Issues

    Scrolling through recent issues is impossible. I want to read October 2 issue, and I can't get to it. This new update is bad. App support link doesn't work either. Grrr
