To create or customize an unlimited number of items you can upgrade to the full version (with a one time in-app purchase). NOTE The matching between barcodes/photos and items is managed in a social way, through the community of IntelliList users. Inevitably, in the beginning only few barcodes/photo will be recognized. I like your app and would trade in the one I yes now but your app doesn’t have enough character space for my city’s sales tax which is .0825%.
  • More options please.

I like how you can put in exact prices, I like the barcode scanner, ability to take a picture of the product and use it. However. We need more options for what the products come as. Right now I have to use “piece” for almost everything. What about cat litter, orange juice, soup, cheese. One piece of cat litter? One piece of orange juice? One piece of soup? One piece of cheese? How about one BOX of cat litter, one PACKAGE of cheese, one CAN of soup, one BOTTLE of orange juice. 🙏
  • Loved it but they lie to you

I loved this app after first installing it. But then a few weeks in to using it I could no longer add or customize items unless I paid $4.99 a month. They falsely advertise in the app description that there are “NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS” ha! NOT TRUE PEOPLE!!!! I will be uninstalling this app and looking for another.

Thoroughly appreciated this app for a long time, made grocery shopping easier and saved me money all the time. Then I to factory reset my phone and took for granted that this app would be like so many others and retain its data. I don’t remember ever being prompted to set up automatic backups and since there’s no account with sign-in, the data are simply gone. Lost six stores and over 100 items. Can’t wait to spend an afternoon inputting everything again 😑
  • Finally a grocery list that works with budgeting!

I have used several shopping list apps but even if they let you put in an item’s price, they don’t store that price for the next shopping trip. So they’re really useless if you need to stay within a certain amount per trip. Thank you for making that work. I also like that you can have lists for different stores and can run reports to see where you can save. The only thing I would ask would be the ability to arrange aisles the way you want so you can work through the list as you progress through the store. Less scrolling. Also, it would be great if you could minimize aisles so you would could concentrate on the aisle you’re in.

Thanks to the latest upgrade users can now sort aisles by store. This app is now definitely worth five stars! Thank you for listening to those of us who begged for this feature!

After another app I used for years was discontinued I tried this and at first was intimidated but after a brief learning curve I realized that this is probably the best app ever invented. When I upgraded my phone I developed a glitch that dissuaded me but after trying out some others I contacted Amerida who responded to me almost immediately with detailed instructions for a fix which worked so I could happily spend the rest of my afternoon building up my database scanning my food items. One great feature is the ability to easily sort aisles to match your favorite store.
  • Still my favorite shopping list app

I've tried a couple of grocery list apps before, and this is by far the best one yet. It took some adjustment, and I needed to contact the developer for help, but he was very customer-service-oriented, and always promptly responded to my questions. Once I got used to the different (better) way this app works, compared to the previous apps I'd used, it became intuitive and efficient to quickly create a new and unique shopping list for each trip to the store. I'm a little disappointed in the barcode scanning feature, because most of the items in my local grocery store that I would want to scan aren't in IntelliList's database, so I have to create an entirely new record for each one the vast majority of items that I regularly purchase in my grocery store. But that doesn't seriously compromise the overall usefulness of this app. It's just a bit less convenient than I'd originally thought. Still, it's a great app and I'd buy it again. With the most recent update (11/2018), a tax management feature was added, which changed the way the list summary was displayed on the Lists screen. I wasn’t happy about it, and contacted the developer, who quickly got back to me and explained how to change the setting that disabled tax management. Now the list summary displays the number of items in the list, as it used to. Great customer service, and IntelliList is still my go-to app for grocery shopping.
  • Good upgrade!

This is a good upgrade. The developer is clearly looking out for customers as this is a work in progress. Several nice features for the future would be: 1. Coupon handling 2. Notes that are specific to the price, rather than item. For example, this week may be limit 5 of an item, next week limit 3. 3. Units specific to the price, rather than item. For example, I may but a 35-pack of bottled water, but this week the price is 3 packs for $10. Great app!
