App Reviews

  • No Voice Recognition

    By Peigeyuan
No voice to text to be found. On help, it says there are 100 free, but can’t find the mic icon and no explanation where or how to activate. Frustrating. Otherwise, rest of app is 5 stars.

Love it. I've had it for years.
  • Useful, but blatantly run by radical leftists

    By Jakesofhazzard
The app does what you’d expect. It’s a digital version of a dictionary/thesaurus. Only the techy version is loaded down with sneaky “word of the day” that coincides with the days politics. And it’s disgustingly biased toward hating conservatives and propping up the propaganda loving alt-left. In fact today they had a article on a DICTIONARY APP called “decoding the alt-right”. Nice try jerks. I’m an independent person politically and otherwise, but I’d like to be able to AT LEAST use my paid Webster’s app without some MSCNBC fanatic trying to propagandize my feed. An absolute disgrace that you could turn something like this into a political football.👎✌🏾
  • Great

We love this app. Readily accessible with more than enough content. Great for anyone who loves to read, write or do research.
  • Spell pronunciation not working

    By One regular customer
I have purchased the App and I use it. One issue with the version in my iPhone XS Max is that the stressed syllables in Spell Pronunciation are not showing in bold format. Please please fix this.
  • Convenient

    By Marvelous_Christian
I love this app. It’s so handy to use, especially if the Andes or TV are on and you hear an unfamiliar word it’s very close st hand and convenient to use the dictionary app. Have become very dependent upon using this routinly. Love it!!!
  • This would be a 4 or 5 star app if...

    By BigJoeyStud
This would be a 4 or 5 star app if not for the politically charged articles of extreme left (not liberal) thought. Articles covering subjects that have not a reason to insert one’s own policultural (my own neologism for what they do) ideologies to influence the mind of the reader. The writers for this app are not to be classified as liberals, as I myself am liberal in many ways. They are Marxists with revisionist views on history. Marxist not in the economical sense but very much in the cultural.
  • Partner??

By irritated and leaving the app
Why is dictionary suggesting that we leave husband, wife, boyfriend etc. and move to a generic term, specifically partner.I wanted this app to expand my vocabulary not to try to impose Political Correctness.
  • Too much garbage

    By Lord Helmut
Why can I have a clean interface. No articles. Just a text box and definitions. Why does everything need to be so busy?
  • Top of the heap

    By Reluctant Lemming
This is a great dictionary app. I’m glad I bought it.a
