i pay for a tribune subscription, still i'm forced to watch the video ad every time i open the app, that's pretty weak, also nonsense ad content sprinkled throughout the feed, "great party ideas" and "15 shipwrecks", i came to read the news, i paid the admission fee, don't subject me to that garbage

Every time I open the app I have a 3 second ad. I pay for a subscription! This is unacceptable.

I pay for the Tribune, but am extremely upset that new versions of the app force me to watch an ad for gaining access to my paid subscription. Furthermore, new versions of the app haven't seem to improve the user experience- they have added zero value to users. I will probably not renew my paid subscription until the Trib removes such intrusive ads for subscribers. I understand doing this for unpaid users, but no way this will fly with me for paid subscribers- they want to make even more money? My paid subscription isn't enough?!
  • Solid big city newspaper.

I hate being on the net for a newspaper, but things change. This app is very good.
  • Easy to browse

Easy navigation makes the app a pleasant tool for reviewing top stories. I have enjoyed making the Trib app part of my morning routine. My only complaint is that sometimes, when I go back to the home page after reading a story, the list of top stories has advanced or jumped backward a few items. I would like the list to return exactly where I left it, but this is a small issue.
