  • It’s not bad

    By HouseofLancaster
As far as a free, onboard video creator goes, it’s not bad. However, there are some really annoying and time consuming things that are terrible. The standard picture length is 5.8 seconds and 6.8 without a transition. This isn’t bad, it’s the fact that every picture automatically has Ken Burns more enabled and has a transition. You have to manually delete every transition and disable KB mode if you don’t want your video to have it. Also, deleting transitions lengthens the 2 pictures it was between an arbitrary amount of up to .5 - 2 seconds than they were before, so you have to fix that too. Ken Burns mode also will make it so that pictures aren’t uploaded centered, instead being zoomed in or focused on a corner of the picture.
  • Good, one problem... (developers read this)

    By Katez12121212
I love editing my videos with iMovie!! Nice and simple, you know... all you need to use it your thumbs... (on mobile) Just one bug that pisses me off... well two I guess... I am telling you this bug messes up your project and it could take another half an hour to fix it... So the bug I deal with is that sometimes when I click on a clip to edit it... the line curser... you should know what I mean... goes of to the side of where you clicked... so simple fix, I reset the app... go back in app and find that my clip and “splits” are off by milliseconds... so I make like based drop videos sorta u know... but when I’ve been editing and trimming all over my project... This bug will screw up every. Single. Clip/“split”... so when I watch my video I’ll see that my splits will be delayed from the music... Sigh Hopefully a developer sees this, lol. Thanks
  • Stupid stupid stupid stupid

I spend so much fricking time editing and then the app starts to stop working, then all the audio gets fricked up and gets delayed, there’s a problem where the screen turns black while transitioning, I’m not using this stupid app anymore until you fix it. So much fricking glitches.

  • Good, But Needs Improvement.

To start things off, iMovie is a good editor. I enjoy the possibilities it provides and the editing it produces. I love to use the sound-effects they have when editing a YouTube video. But, there are some things that I think need to be changed. First of all, If you are creating a movie with something specifically from your Photos, YOU CANNOT DELETE THE FOOTAGE. If you delete it permanently, iMovie will only show the parts that have not been deleted. For me, that’s a huge error. I don’t want to fill up my space with 20 minute long videos that I edit to be posted. Another thing is music. Music is a huge thing when it comes to editing (in my opinion) and it gives you only few choices. Those few choices sometimes don’t fit the video you are editing. I hope more music is added that people would actually enjoy using. That is the only error in my opinion. Other than those things, iMovie is a good editor for those with lots of storage space.
