The efficacy of letting another guide my efforts can’t be understated . I chose a meditation that looks interesting and that’s it! Follow what the guide says and there you are..meditating. There are so many to try! So many different paths to explore. I still haven’t engaged with the social aspect of the app, but perhaps in the future it would be nice to communicate and share notes with fellow meditators. Nice to have that option :)

I mostly just use the meditation timer app, but it’s nice having a connection to meditators all over the world, and I’ve enjoyed several very good guided meditations.

I enjoy insight timer a lot. But seeing the photos of the people who do the guided meditations, they are all overwhelmingly white. I wish there was more inclusivity especially with all the yoga and eastern meditation on here, not just western taught yoga moms with soothing voices. Respect where this surge of meditation is originating from and the people who brought it to light.
