    Videos always low quality, app closes randomly, some of the functions don’t work at times. Need to fix these. I try to watch game recaps, but can’t find game recaps in the video tab. And when I do, it’s blurry af
  • Can only cast live games

    This app only works with chromcast on live games. When I tried to cast any games from yesterday, it only plays a sound for 1 second and quit. I have to watch on my small screen phone.

    When the app is working the way it is intended it’s awesome! However there are a few things that prevent it from doing so; 1) Blackouts are a huge bummer, but that isn’t really anything against the app itself. It’s hard to justify paying for league pass and not being able to see my team play (so far this season I’ve had to use other apps to watch due to blackouts). It’s great seeing all the other games though! 2) When watching games, the app has been crashing intermittently. Sometimes it’ll be after just a few minutes, sometimes after a 10/20 minutes. It’s very frustrating, especially when there is only a few seconds left in the game! Besides those two things (mainly the second one), love the app!

    App crashes all the time. I’ve purchased the full league pass and it’s basically a waste as I’m not able to watch games without constant crashing.

    This app lacks any substance or flavor to distinguish it from other apps. NBA had the opportunity to dominate basketball information delivery and with this result, it falls horribly short. As a consumer desiring basketball entertainment, other sources provide more content options. Update after developer response: Here are my suggestions. A breaking news section. It's NBA news, and people want it as it happens. Let the NBA app be the best place to get it. NBATV. Please allow a stream, or even on-the-go replay of popular NBATV shows. NBA Twitter. I am already in the NBA app. Why should I leave to open another app? Nice to haves: Basketball rules in the form of a mini game or quiz. This will help minimize negative fan sentiment towards referees. Include video breakdowns of highly contested game calls. Update 2018: I love the changes and updates! Updated to 5 stars. Only one last request from me for now. Can you add the ability to organize the team's I follow and the order in which they appear? I follow a few teams, but since it's alphabetical, my team is a bit down on the list. I would rather not unfollow, but would prefer to set my own order for viewing the my teams section of the home page.

    I purchased league pass to watch games on the west coast. Every game is blacked out because it is on tv somewhere. They make it seem like it’s only blacked out if it is on locally. Garbage. Then when you want watch a game three hours later, you have to see all the scores before even viewing the game. Then it locks up when trying to view a game.

    I have had NBA League Pass for years with zero problems until this year. My subscription works okay on my tv but when it try to authenticate my subscription via this app on my iPad or iPhone, the screen displays the message “ you now have full access to NBA League Pass.” At this point one would think I am good to go but this message just stays on my screen. It doesn’t continue on to allow me to use League Pass. This message sits on my screen & if I close the app & reopen it, it sends me to the authentication process all over again only to end up at the same screen stating I have full access. I have contacted NBA League Pass support, Apple & DirectV (where my subscription is) & each tech support passes me on to each other stating its one of the other services problem. I am going to cancel my league pass.

    Every year it’s a little cumbersome to get the app to fully work on my iPad but one call to customer support usually solves any glitches. But this year I feel outright ripped off by LeaguePass and potentially their new partner Apple. While I have other devices (iPhone, Apple TV) on which the app works like a charm, my iPad with Retina display which runs iOS 10.3.3(the highest it can run) refuses to load any games, live or replay. And yet highlight videos work fine. I have spent weeks trying to sort this out with the support team, by chat, by phone and by e-mail. We have spent hours trying everything. I was reassured that a fix was forthcoming. I was offered an upgrade to the in-arena stream subscription. All acceptable. But today I was told “sorry but the app will not work on iOS 10.0.” This is not what the app description says. It clearly says works on iOS 10.0 and later. I’ve watched games on the iPad 90% of the time for years because it allows me to work at the same time or move around the house. But those days are over I guess. So I wonder why the developers are unable to figure it out and why the NBA falsely advertises their product. Imagine if from one day to the next your Netflix stops working because they can’t program the software to work on hardware that is 4 years old. I run plenty of content streaming apps without a problem. Why can’t you guys figure this out? Or is your partnership with Apple forcing your consumers into purchasing newer devices. In my opinion NBA leaguepass is flirting with a class action lawsuit as I’m sure I’m not the only one having this problem.
