  • Don’t waste your money

The app can’t even find my receiver. Total waste of money.
  • Junkware

I have a Denon x4400h. This app offers no improvement over the free app. Yes it will raise and lower the volume but that’s about all I could do. Couldn’t select or switch zone input sources. Seems like it can’t really connect to the Denon.
  • Replaces Marantz’s Nonfunctional App

    By jjaskuna
The DeRemote works perfectly with my Marantz AV7704, which is a tremendous relief given the nonfunctional nature of the Marantz App. It also works with my Denon 5200, which is a few years older. I highly recommend this app if you own a Denon or Marantz receiver or separate, as its stable and fills the need left from the nonfunctional Marantz and Denon 2016 apps.
  • Perfect!!!!!!

    By Jimbob1924
This is the first app that I actually left a review for without being pestered by the designers to do so. This works amazing. I love that it connects to my older AVR-4308ci. I say that, yet I paid $2500 for this receiver 10 years ago and it is simply amazing piece of equipment and I’m just not willing to drop that kind of money on a new one yet since this works perfectly. Yet it does not have some of the newest features. First problem was that I have my media center hidden away with a whole house structured media box. The IR Remotes that came with my receiver would not work and I couldn’t find a IR repeater locally. The new Denon app would not work but with this one I can control everything with my phone as I stream music from that same phone to BT adapter. Simple amazing. Thank you so much. Worth every penny!
  • Pandora broken! Please fix!

Keeps looping on credentials. Even reset pandora password. Still doesn’t work.
  • Garbage

Only download this if you like seeing a message, “trying to connect to denon or marantz receiver”.
  • Please maintain

App was updated and now it doesn’t support Bluetooth. Seriously!
  • Junk -don’t waste your money if you use Pandora or Sirius

    By SteevinSTL
If you use anything that requires authentication (Pandora, Sirius, etc.) forget it! I spent hours trying to figure out how to enter my account information. It keeps telling me to “follow the onscreen menu,” well the onscreen menu shows nothing but the navigation buttons and “menu on” and “menu off” buttons, which by the way, do absolutely nothing. Sometimes I do get a prompt for an email address after switching inputs to Sirius, but the keyboard function to enter the email doesn’t work. By the way, I have worked in IT for 20 years, so I’m no stranger to technology. This stuff isn’t rocket science. As bad as the free Marantz app is, at least it worked with Sirius and Pandora.
  • Does no recognize my IOS music library or anything internet related

    By Krispyc
I don’t understand why there is no pause or mute feature for the volume control. It won’t recognize my IOS music library. I’ve created a favorites list using Denon’s HEOS app and this app won’t recognize that either. This app won’t recognize anything internet related, touching the internet icons does nothing.
