App Reviews

  • Switching through days is annoying

    By Amanda Boccia
I like that everything is in the app and it makes it easy to look up recipes, and that you can create your own. I do find it annoying that it is difficult to switch through days. I also don’t like that I can’t go to the next day and add in the meals I prepared for breakfast and dinner.

  • App only Mediocre

Please take a cue from My Fitness Pal on how to set up this WW app. The good news is the app does work most of the time. The bad news is in the limited capabilities considering today’s technological capabilities. The search reminds me of old technology since one has to type in exact wording before it can be found. The data base is limited. One has to often just guess at which database food might be equivalent. There are very few good restaurants included. It is mostly fast food. There is no copy-over capability of foods from one day to the next or from one meal to another. For Quick Add points, there is no need to require a name. One should just be able to add the points and be done. I spend a lot of time being frustrated with trying to find things in this app. I know it could be so much better. Get busy WW and clean up this mess.
  • Stop double counting my food. Seriously.

    By smhartmann
Problem one. I do not understand what is wrong with logging food quickly. I click to log my food, wait for at least 15-20 seconds and when it doesn’t appear to go back to the main screen, demonstrating it is logged, I click again. Eventually I realize it has double counted the food being logged. Ridiculous. Problem two. I have clicked on yesterday at least 20 times this morning to make sure I logged that glass of wine last night and it will not go back to yesterday. So incredibly frustrating. Problem three. Restaurant menu items need to be able to be modified. When I order something I always say NO CHEESE, just so I don’t have to count the cheese points. But then I don’t have any way to account for having the cheese removed. Example, Chick-fil-A egg white grill. I would love to know how many points this is WITHOUT CHEESE. Problem four. I do not understand this fit tracker crap. A month ago it was linked to my watch and tracked my steps. Now my watch doesn’t appear to be connected and who knows how to get it to track “fit points”.
  • No update on app

I’ve been looking at Tofu recipes for the last month! Weekly recipes not updating on app- I’ve changed my password and contacted customer service and no response.
  • This app has gotten worse!

    By techtician
My review is based solely on the app - not the WW program itself. It used to be decent. My only complaint was that you can’t share recipes, even with another WW user. That means when my wife and I cook and eat a non-WW recipe, we each have to create the recipe separately in our apps in order to track it. Nonsense!! While this issue remains, we have both recently begun having trouble with the search while looking up food to log or add to a recipe we are creating. For example, we need to add a carrot to a recipe, so we type “carrot”, and the results include anything with “carrot” in the title BUT simple raw or uncooked carrots! So we scroll through the results until you can’t scroll any more and STILL no carrots! We’ve had the same problem with simply “orange juice.” In fact that’s even worse because it seems to return anything with the word “orange” in the title but seems to completely ignore the word “juice.” If that weren’t frustrating enough, we can both search for the same thing and get different results. If it happens when trying to create a recipe, sometimes we can save the incomplete recipe and return to edit it and do the same ingredient search with different results. The app has become so frustrating we’re near the point of not using it!
  • Would like nutrition info

    By Wendypendy
I really like this app and find both the tracking and community aspects useful. However, I’d appreciate a daily/weekly summary of micro and macro nutrients so I can see if certain cravings are due to some nutritional deficiency or just to track my nutritional balance. Please add this to a future update!
  • Latest update causing issues

    By Jkn1019
Unable to pretrack my week without having to close app, clear it off my iPhone and open app again! Already sent in tech issue and all they said was thanks they will forward my concern on. Over 25 years working in IT, it shows that they are testing only what they changed without checking to see if they broke something! Very frustrated!
  • Crappy Tech

Now that WW has been downgraded by JP Morgan based partly on the reviews for the app, maybe WW will finally invest in their online tracking and app. Neither one can hold a candle to competitors like Noom and My Fitness Pal. Seriously, is it that hard to 1) make a tracker that actually is user friendly, 2) make a tracker that doesn’t freeze up all the time, or 3) make a tracker that has a solid, reliable data base of foods? Wake up, Weight Watchers. And this is coming from a Lifetime Member.
  • Restaurant Points

    By dasbk
It would be most useful to be able to sort items within a restaurant by point values and/or alphabetically by item name. Thanks
