  • A death of a great app

Audio: only online! Before a new version: offline ok. Support for non-English audio: removed. Before a new version: hundreds of languages. A tragedy. They went crazy.
  • Wish I Hadn’t Updated...

...to the most recent version. It feels much clunkier and buggier than before, and the archive list/system is way different. Has been harder to find specific things since I updated over weekend. Wish I could go back to previous version
  • Great app!

Handy way to save things to read offline and in a comfortable format. I use it with IFTTT to have my morning news delivered every day. The latest version is even easier on the eyes than before and seems to have fixed a problem of occasional freezes on my iPad. Thanks.

Thanks so much for the great update! It really works well but since the latest update I have not been able to read articles while listening to them on my iPad. Can you please fix this?
  • Doesn’t always save

I use pocket all the time, but frequently have to save articles to iBooks because only part of the article is saved to Pocket. This didn’t used to be the case so maybe there is a programming glitch somewhere that needs to be corrected.
  • Terrible new design

The new design is terrible. Before, it did look like an iOS app. Now, it looks like some crappy web app.
  • Used to be great

The app doesn’t update unless I clear it from memory & reopen, and adding from clipboard doesn’t work most of the time. What happened?
  • Update is Buggy

The recent update is really buggy. My saved list has about ten articles and the second and third articles on the list are mislabeled with the name of the first article. Once the bugs are worked it, I will change this to a 5 star review because historically this is my favorite app.

I love Pocket. Use it all the time, reading and audio. There are some fixable issues with the new audio. A great male voice reads the title, but then it changes to a female voice reading the body of the article? Doesn’t seem to have an option for the user to change. Also, you can’t listen and read at the same time. Still one of my favorite apps though.

Pocket is my go to app when I’m between flights, waiting at an appointment, looking for a new subject to read about... or anytime I want to be inspired or intrigued. I love it.
