  • Apple Watch Trouble

You can’t have an app designed for exercise and then not support the hardware devices that serve the same purpose. The Apple Watch app - and the way it works (or rather doesn’t work) with the iPhone app - is a joke, frankly. I’ve lost data several times, started multiple runs at the same time, been out of sync. Come on. This isn’t up to the standard that you’ve set for yourselves.

I've used this app for about 5 years. First the free version but finally but the bullet and paid for the enhanced features. I love the app and features. I’m back to using just the free version but not because there was anything wrong with the paid version. I just wasn’t using the features of the paid version. Keeps you motivated and reminds me when I haven’t been out for a while.
  • A few bugs still

I want this to be the training plan, step counting, activity tracking, Apple Watch using app to rule them all, but it’s far from perfect. Labeling a stopwatch run as on the treadmill never sticks; you have to go to the web for that. If you run with the phone and the watch, it’s finicky and will record a workout for both. You can fuss with that on the watch, but you’re usually already running. Then, this expert app based training regimen that you get with a Go subscription looks nice on the phone... but if you deviate from the plan you can’t mark a workout complete. The GPS and tracking are nice... management and bugs make this a fiddly experience.

Activities started on my watch don’t get logged in the app.
