    Ok app
  • Apple Watch fail

Update March 2018 Still, you cannot edit the route for an activity completed on the Apple Watch alone. This is a fail in my opinion. The whole point of the AW app is to go phoneless. You can’t choose the route on the Watch, nor can you change it later on the phone or online in the web interface. Major fail. I posted about this in the online help center nearly a year ago, and still no response. How hard can it be???? UPDATE: The HUGE numbers update has been fixed. Thanks! The rest of this update is about the Apple Watch app. In short, the watch app is bad, and breaks your heart all the time. The problem is that it doesn't play well with other apps. On several occasions, the app has crashed during an activity and lost all my data. It goes like this: Start the app on the watch in "watch only" mode. Start another app, for example, the Apple Music app or an interval counter. Stay in this app on the watch. Perform your activity Close out the app you started (e.g., the interval counter) Go back to the Runkeeper watch app, and, within one second, the app crashes, losing your data. This has happened to me multiple times in that order--it is repeatable (at least on my watch). A similar problem: while running, using the Runkeeper app on the watch in "watch only" mode, I pressed the lower left quadrant to cycle through the display, and the app crashed, again losing my data. On another occasion, I switched from having the Apple Music app in the forefront to the RK app, and again it crashed, losing my data. I am a Runkeeper lover, and have been using it for a long time. But the watch app is a heartbreaker, losing data constantly. I'm thinking about ditching Rk and going to something else because of it. END UPDATE; below is from an earlier posting. The latest update shows HUGE numbers for the mileage in the activity list. It is terrible. There is no apparent way to remove the HUGE numbers. Before, the list was clean and simple and I could see many activities at once. Now, because of the HUGE numbers, I can only see two activities on the list at once. Did I say it is TERRIBLE?

My wife and I walk together. Side by side. Her times and distances are significantly faster and farther. Why?

keeps getting better. they added my shoe tracker! one bug is that making note of what gym equipment you used never sticks with the workout. you can select treadmill, elliptical, etc. but it doesn’t save. overall, very good. ***************** Switched to this app since Nike+ Running stopped logging runs. Works well. The start-up is less cumbersome than Nike+ Running. Biggest suggestion would be adding a shoe tracker. I rotate my shoes and it would be nice to have an accurate picture of milage on each pair. Just put in an option to add shoes, and then we can select in a dropdown menu with each run. Individual shoe milage should be viewable as an advanced stat. Thanks.

  • Add rucking option

This app allows you to do almost anything when it comes to tracking your run. It adjusts for shoes (if they are in the system), shows real-time pace, and even displays which side of the road you ran on after your run is complete among many other features. This app is amazing.... save but one feature, which is why it lost 2 stars for me. It doesn't allow for the user to add weight To their run. I walk with a 50lb pack, and would love to see the adjustment to calories that are burned carrying additional weight. PLEASE ADD THIS OPTION!! Thank you

I’m training for a marathon and have been using this app for a couple months now. It works great, the training plans are awesome, goal insights and the ability to compare your runs is very motivating. I do wish that the training plans were available with the free version, though. The training plans are what make the Runkeeper Go subscription worth it. Note: I don’t have a fitness watch, so I don’t know what the app is like when using it alongside another device. I also haven’t ran more than 4 miles with the app yet, so I don’t know how my phone battery will hold up when I begin running further distances.
  • Make app more intuitive; notification probs

    By tinchro
When you click on a push notification for a comment, it doesn’t take you to the comment. Also, there is a running list of notifications buried in your profile screen but you’d never know they were there because the app doesn’t display a “count” of the notifications anywhere. Challenges should be modifiable, like I should be able to increase the mileage of a challenge over time. Give the user some more flexibility!
