  • Ok...it’s about time, enough is enough.

I been a Stitcher user for YEARS now. I know it like the back of my hand. I recommend it on a daily basis. I’m a serious Stitcher “guy!” The one and ONLY thing I wish wish wish you guys would do is GREATLY improve your stat-keeping on us, your Stitcher users. My fave thing is to remember that “oh hey...I haven’t checked my stats in awhile, I wonder if I broke my record for days in a row listening!?.” and I drop whatever/whoever I’m doing and I look. You guys can easily keep better stats. C’mon. I want a layout of months-to years-to all time listening statistics. I am a HUGE maker of lists! Everything in my life revolves around this grading/rating/listing system where things qualify for my personal “Hall of Fame.” Or my “Top 5,” and of course the end-all “All-Time” lists. How the heck am I supposed to know which podcast is my All-Time Fave? Which shows are to be inducted into my “Hall of Fame Podcasts” and what about my “Top 5 newer true crime shows”? Think of the possibilities here folks. I’m not alone in this I feel. You have to be kinda nerdy to be into this whole podcasting thing anyway don’t ‘ya? So I’m guessing there’s plenty of folks out there that would agree with me. So the next meeting you ppl have, instead of voting to improve the visibility of the “skip ahead 5-10-30seconds” button for the 16th time, do something epic!!!!! Announce that you’ve decided to implement a whole new statistic tracking feature that can tell you everything from our all-timer fave show, to which podcast we check-out of prematurely most often, to what times we listen to what show. All of it!!! Because frankly.....I need a big change. You guys are becoming boring! This would lock us all in for another LeBron-like contract with you. Go go go..........-Jay

Deleted this app because they do not support free speech. Whether I agree with a person or not, they should NEVER BE CENSORED. Especially when you allow countless other podcasts which are extremely racist. Goodbye.
  • Availability but crashes

I like how I can use Stitcher on my phone or a computer, unlike the stock Apple podcast app. This being said, I've noticed recently that it will crash unexpectedly while I'm in the car: either when working independently or sometimes when running along with another app. Also, sometimes an episode won't play. I think because other episodes will be playing. At times, I'll try to play and download, then it crashes.
  • Terrible sorting of episodes

I don’t know why this is made so difficult. Even if I change the order of the episodes in Favorites or a custom playlist it ignores me and just does something else. I tried Stitcher due to Freakonomics podcast and I will do a paid subscription to support that but not until this basic sorting feature is fixed. Back to Overcast I go.
  • Does not support free speech

I liked the app until the InfoWars podcast was removed. I do not respect or support companies that pander to liberal agendas. Very disappointed.
  • Censoring

Used to love this app. But now they are censoring free speech. Time to delete after over 6 years of almost daily listening.

Is Stitcher censoring Alex Jones, too? I’m not a fan, but find the partisan hypocrisy disgusting. I grew up to the mantra, I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it. Shame on you!
  • You ruined it

This app used to be so good but they have absolutely destroyed it with most recent updates. Episodes don’t download or cut out even if they were downloaded and then it just automatically skips to a show you don’t want to listen too. Seriously they should fire everyone who has been working on this app recently.

After 4000 listening hours I have deleted this app. Cannot support a business that removes content they disagree with. Private business can do what they want but I'll find a new pod app. #nothoughtpolice

Alex Jones is an idiot but I simply cannot pay money to a company that censors people. I’ve deleted my account and I’m moving on. People deserve the right to speak regardless of what they are saying.
