I love Epocrates, and have been using it daily at work for years. Now that I have an iPad, I only wish there was an iPad version that used smaller print and thus could fit more on the screen at once. It's a great program! Update: love the iPad version. Use it daily!

This app helped me to check drug interactions quickly and effectively.

Over the past few months the app has been freezing and completely unresponsive a majority of the time. I have to open and close it multiple times in order to get it to respond to any of my queues. The content is good, I’m glad it stays up to date, but it’s useless if the app doesn’t work.
  • Great app but too expensive

I am a retired Physician Assistant and when I was in practice Epocrates was the go to app for me. Back then the cost didn’t bother me but when I had to retire due to illness I no longer could afford to buy the full version. I really do miss being able to look up diagnoses and labs among other things. Since I was in practice for 24 years I paid for Epocrates every year or two years for all the years of my practice. There should be a really reduced fee for those of us who paid for this app for so many years.
  • Good information, poor execution

Long time user and subscriber since it became a paid service. Every year I lose access to the paid features and after a few months it is resolved and I just lose a few months of use. Frustrating for the cost to have poor service. Customer service approach has been new representative with each email, each response asks for same or similar information. At some point someone agrees that paid and should get service and fixes it, without explanation or resolution of possible future recurrence. No real feeling of making things right or understanding the problem. Zero stars for update execution and renewal other than their ability to accept my payment. App is good.
  • They have ruined it

“Notifications” blocking the screen every time you open the app and no apparent way to shut that off. And now advertisements. For a $175 per year?!?
  • Great Tool!

I am a practicing Family Practitioner who works in an urgent care setting where over 63 different languages maybe spoken by our patients and patients are often new to our country. I have found Epocrates to be an invaluable tool for treatments, recommendations for treatment for diseases that are rarely seen in our country and for day to day usage for pregnant and lactating women to check on safety. The interaction tool is also extremely useful to help explain to patients how one medication may interact with their other, sometimes long list.

I use epocrates routinely for personal use. I have several health problems so as my meds changes are added or deleted I stay on top of thinks. It has been a wonderful resource for me for many years. Thanks for having such a great app and its ease of use.

How disappointed I was after purchasing the full version to find the Differential Tab was missing and discovered after a phone call they are no longer offering this function. That is what made this App stand out to me. Please, Epocrates, bring back this important function!
