  • Quirky app but good concept

I have been using the app now over a month training for a half. I like that it customizes based on what you want your schedule to be. I also like that it updates based on your progress and the integration with Strava is great. What I don’t like... -I have only been able to view the entire plan 1 time. Now it won’t load that far out...my half is June 3 and that was as of April 24. -Today it won’t let me in the app, stops me on a screen saying welcome back and asks what subscription I want. I have a subscription already. I even try to select a new subscription and it tells me I’m subscribed. Now I’m stuck in subscription screen limbo and can’t see my training plan. I can’t remember what my run is supposed to be today. I contacted support and have heard nothing back. Seriously?! - back when I could get in the app, I dislike being forced to put mileage in for cross training days. Some cross training days there is no mileage involved but I have to enter mileage even if it was yoga. - adding any cross training is tedious - I’ve emailed the “coaches” and never gotten a response - the drill video links don’t work, so I never do the drills All in all the idea is good I like the progress I have seen in following this plan. This is my third time training for a a half but my first time with this plan. I’m glad I’m on the monthly plan. If I can ever get back in I will finish this training and never use it again.

This app became horrible after the update a few weeks ago. I definitely will not be renewing my subscription.

Extremely difficult to exit this program. It’s not for me and I want to discontinue. They make it very difficult!

This is going to be a great app but it isn’t there yet. Daily activity screens don’t match the month view and I am getting a lot of timeouts.

You have to pay for a subscription and I didn’t want that. They send annoying emails (you can turn off online) but to “manage your acct” you have to have the app, which I had already deleted. I downloaded it again and there is no option to delete my account.
  • Just right for me

I thought this would be just another templated plan or digital copy of their PDFs but it actually looks at my races and workouts to adapt my training! Would love to sync multiple devices but it works well with my Garmin.
  • Where is everyone?

I can't get anyone to follow me because nobody uses this app! I am a dedicated runner and want to use this app but I need people to use this to motivate me. Is Tom everyone's coach? How can it be custom then?!?
  • Great Plan but bulky interface

The plans are great and I can definitely notice a difference in my fitness because of the plan I having been using for a couple months. However the app is somewhat bulky and misses some great features that other dedicated running apps such as Runkeeper have. I use this app in conjunction with the Apple workout app OR Runkeeper - app for the plan/pacing/intervals and Workout/Runkeeper for the post workout analysis and mid-run pace check-ups. This combo works well and since Workout/Runkeeper is free, I pay for this app just for the plan which I have found is great. The only issue I have is that the only half I have done and recorded into the app is my pace for all my easy and long runs - which seems odd. I make pace on all my tempo, speed, threshold runs, but don’t on my long runs because it’s a the top of my half threshold based on going all out on the race I recorded. Not sure the fix for this! Also connecting other apps is buggy so doesn’t work very well. And I also hate that you can’t make up a workout a day late if there is, say, bad weather one day. You can record the workout but can’t check it off as completed. And not sure how the “intelligent training” uses it. But in the end, it’s worth it just for the plan itself and the accessibility of it in app form.
  • Good app

It’s not a perfect app, but I have yet to find a better app. Like how runs come back after deleting them. And I haven’t been able to use the app for two days now because every time I click on it it’s taking me to a subscription page even though I already have one and it’s not letting me use the app. Really annoyed.
