App Reviews

  • Good, but crashes.

    By CannelleRoll
Still needs some work on the crashes. It crashes a lot for me, like when I go to edit something, use the app too much, write too much text.
  • Great, but...

There is a bug where it’s not allowing me to purchase the unlimited version. When I tap the price and try to buy it, nothing comes up.
  • The Premium Version

    By CyberpunkManga
I would like to buy the premium version of this app. But the main screen button isn’t working. I’ve read other reviews, and someone has experienced this as well. I tried closing the app completely, but this didn’t work either. Other than that, brilliant concept and design.
  • Cannot select existing characters in new scenes.

    By AdamHtinLinn
I cannot tap on any of my existing characters and I only have two of them.
  • I hate this app

    By blonghauser921
I find this app to be fantastic but it continuously crashes on me when I type a long monologue. There are 7 characters in my scene. Pleaseeeeee fix this app. I paid for the premium version and I’m asking myself why when it can’t handle what I paid premium for. So frustrating. I can’t use the app now. And I’m desperate to get writing. What a waste of my time and money. Great idea that I can’t believe they’ve allowed to go to market with so many glitches. Incredible. Some company this is. Update as of 10:13pm on 8/7/18: no response from developers and now I can’t write one more thread of dialogue without it crashing so I’ve had to delete the app. It is not stable enough to invest writing even the bones of a play or screenplay. I’d be terrified to get started on another even if they do fix it. Maybe this would work for a one act very small production. So disappointed. Update 8/16/18 I appreciate the developers comments and look forward to the next release. It appears if a scene is less than 5 characters I don’t have any issues or less issues.
  • Constant Cliffhangers

I want to like this app, but it often crashes and when I export to PDF, it leaves out part of the text. Great concept, needs hardcore work on dev.
  • Writing on the go

    By GuitarManFTW
Dialogue is a great app for creating a script while on the go. It provides all the essentials for creating your drafts, and with the tap of a button you can export it to be edited in other platforms in order to really refine your story. The automatic formatting and streamlined writing process keeps events and dialogue clear from start to finish.
  • Love the idea, but...

    By GiantComic
The app is a great idea and fairly executed, but some polishing still needs to be done. Some of the toggles aren’t fitting on the screen in the setting menus and the app still crashes when scenes get to large (not that big even) or when there are more than 4 characters in a given scene. I would also like the ability rotate the screen orientation so I can use it with an iPad wireless keyboard case without popping the device out and propping the device up next to my keyboard. As it is now the screen is locked in portrait orientation. Love the concept, but could use some tweaks. Keep at it!
  • It’s great

    By jiggly geese
but almost every time it crashes when I write a narration line
  • Still Glitched

    By beepborpboe
As much as I love this app, the app still crashes if I have too many characters.
