  • So disappointed... Go to lexile.com... it’s free

I bought this app this summer with the hope of leveling my classroom library. After organizing the books by author I started scanning. I was so excited to use the bar code scanner and thought I could be finished in a few days. 90% of the time I scanned, the app asked me to send an email to the developers to add the book to their database. I tried searching the base by title and author. My husband offered to help and found every book I was looking for on lexile.com. His help made this process easy as I found a comparison chart on line. Ultimately, I did not finish leveling the books this summer. I did finish the this break- knocking out 200+ books in a day using the Lexile website. WASTE OF MONEY. Anyone that bought this app deserves a refund.

It’s convenient and easy to use. However, many books have not been leveled and when I send an email to let them know, I never hear back. Overall, ok. It’s just missing a bunch of titles.

I needed a book leveler for my child. We go to the library and 1 out of the 10 kids book we pick up the app was able to find. Not sure why the app has received so many stars. It did not work for me.

The purpose of the app is to determine text level. I purchased it to organize my classroom library. I have scanned over 20 titles and NONE of them were found. NONE. I gave up. I would not recommend this app to anyone.
  • Very few books actually leveled

I work in a public library and our schools use F&P. I wanted an app to use in my stacks, this isn’t it. After trying just 20 min of using this app & paying the fee I’ve deleted it as useless. Only a small % of books are actually leveled and the guided reading levels are not accurate to F&P guided reading levels. 😡
  • Perfect!

As a Special Education Co Teacher, the kids and I were able to select their nonfiction books for their literature circle time from our campus library.
  • Very disappointing!

I had hoped this would be a very helpful app but after several attempts I only found one book in my elementary library resource cart that was listed as leveled on this app.
  • Don’t waste your money.

Very few books actually in their database. Requests can be made, but after having this app for over a year, I’ve never had anyone respond to my emails about books they do not have in their database. Not worth the money in my opinion.

No matter what I scan no book level available. 30 books in and this app is worthless!!!

I have had this app for two months. I scan all the books my kids bring home from the library or buy. It has had one of their books in their database exactly one time. ONCE! And I always submit the book to be added (which they claim will happen in 5-8 days). But it never has. So basically I paid $6 for nothing. I do not recommend.
